Horrible customer service that does not care for the elderly that are disabled! We knew from the start that we were gonna have issues from this hotel. Valet took 30 minutes to show up, left us waiting. But that’s nothing to what else happened. We called multiple times in the weeks leading up to our trip to confirm that we had connecting handicapped rooms. We get to the hotel, they didn’t have the rooms ready so they put us in 2 separate rooms. Claimed they would have it resolved by the next morning (staying 3 nights). Stopped by on our way to our event and they told us oh no they can’t do anything till after 4pm. 5:30 COMES AROUND and they still do not have anything resolved. We are still stuck on 2 different rooms. so then they offered to move us over the next night, absolutely pointless and stupid considering we leave the next morning. Didn’t even bother to offer compensation or any kind of remedy. Only an I’m sorry. I hope this hotel shapes up as my grandparents should not be treated this way. Last years stay at a different hotel almost ended up in a lawsuit because we had the same issue with the rooms and it took one of them falling in the bathroom in the middle of the night to get us moved over. Hopefully that won’t happen this trip.

However, I had a very unpleasant and uncomfortable experience with the valet service. I only used the valet once during my 48-hour stay—just to drop off and later retrieve my car. Despite having a valet pass (with charges already included), the valet attendant demanded a tip upfront and insisted I give a “nice tip.” He also stated that he was from an external company (AAA) and that tips given inside the hotel would not reach him.
When I told him I would tip after loading my car, he continued to follow me for nearly 10 minutes, standing nearby and watching me the entire time—clearly trying to pressure me. Even after I tipped him $20 for a $30 service, he was visibly unhappy and continued hovering around, making the situation feel awkward and uncomfortable.
This behavior was inappropriate, unprofessional, and unacceptable. I strongly believe in tipping for good service, but being followed and pressured—especially when valet charges are already included—is not okay. This hotel is beautiful and offers things like valet parking. However if you come here they expect you to be free with your money. They leave a water bottle in the room with a $9.00 price tag. You pay to stay here, pay more to park here, then have to pay more if you want breakfast or just a cup of coffee in the morning here. The purchasable items are priced like this is Disney World. So if you stay here you need to have money to spare. They do have coffee makers in the rooms but mine did not work, which I reported so the next guest in the room might have a working one. The rooms are nice and everyone is pleasant here. The service is good. The 3 star rating is due to the over pricing of nearly everything here and the fact that a hotel that wants to be as haughty as this one, at a minimum, should check that the appliances in a room work before putting a guest in the room. Also it wouldn’t kill them to put coffee out for the guests. I know they have Starbucks but people don’t go to Starbucks for a plain cup of coffee, unless it is the only option and they really need their caffeine in the morning.

First, you walk in to this big open lobby but its kinda dim and looked like it used to be really fancy but only back in the 80-90s era. Nothing wrong with that but still its 2025 now. Past that, the vibe was very off just strange, its a huge building but it was mostly dead inside and quite. Again my gut said to walk away but, only one night...how bad can it be.
The room. We get put on a middle floor which I thought was weird considering there werent alot of cars in the parking lot. And the lobby was dead but whatever. The room is very drab, I hate that word but it describes it perfectly. It had a very old smell, not mildew or mold but just old. It was a clean room except for the surge protector, which we will come back to. But everything was old, the furniture, the lights, the bed just very plain and old. The windows looking out the room were really gross which didnt matter because all we could see is rain and a gross pool below. But heres the real problem, I sit down on the bed kinda defeated with how the room is and then *insert drill noise*. They had put us on a floor where construction was happening either above or next to us. Why would you put any guest near a known construction zone. Again, this is a big hotel that it mostly empty. Sadly still I made the mistake of saying, "its only one night".
There was no noise during the night. The bed was fine much as you would imagine. 8:40 though the construction was back on again. And it was time for us to go. As we pack our bags my wife tells me to look under the desk. The rest of the room was clean, albeit the carbet looked like it had been vacummed so much its was basically laminate flooring but it was clean. Under the desk however a surge protector, that is covered in the thickest dust and grime I havent seen since I worked IT in a warehouse. It was gross and the perfect cherry on top to this hotel.
The only good thing I can say was that it was near the places we wanted to go. I will never stay here again and I hope this review helps someone else to not waste any money on a room here. I know its not the worst hotel, I mean there were no bed bugs, but still it sucked badly and just wasnt worth the annoyance.
Moral of the story, dont give this place 1 night.

Our bed covers had a stain on them, air conditioning was poor and took forever to cool down/doesn't reach the bathroom area to cool it down either, wall paper was torn in some places of the room, very outdated and did not look like the pictures, the staff was nice but would not stay again. The water sometimes wouldn’t get warm. Just a very outdated hotel, personally I would not recommend.

Extremely dated and needing complete renovations. Looks nice from outside and lobby but rooms are very unimpressive. My "suite" was like a regular room in other places. Went with a large group and no one ever seemed to have hot water nor did their air conditioning seem to work making it very warm even though it was only in the 70s out. Very nice staff and was clean but for the higher price doubtful I would stay again
This hotel really needs a makeover. ESPECIALLY for what it charges sometimes. My room couldn't flush toilet. Had to remove lid off the back. Water pressure is a hit or miss. Outside looks good and property is fairly clean. The bartenders especially Barbara are really nice. The food is also pretty good.
