The hotel theme was cool, but the workers ruined our stay. We booked a suite for my niece’s 4th birthday, 6 kids and 6 adults, and the hotel knew about it in advance. Staff tried to stop some family members from swimming, so the birthday girl and her brother couldn’t enjoy the pool with everyone else. The room looked nothing like the pictures, amenities were missing, and the staff were flat-out rude. No apologies, no solutions… just made the entire experience more stressful. If you’re planning a special occasion or traveling with kids, save yourself the disappointment and book somewhere else.

Sarah made our trip nice. We spent 3 nights in room 418. The pool was not swimable. They need to test the chemicals, change the water.. I'm not sure. The chlorine/pool chemicals burned my eyes as soon as we walked in. This was a real drag as we were visiting our family in the Quad citys' area as our vacation. My kids didn't get to swim. Otherwise it's a beautiful hotel. Housekeeping does a great job. Breakfast was very basic. We wouldn't stay here again because of the pool.

My family and I stayed at the Stoney Creek in Moline for the first time over the weekend for a quick getaway as our friends and family have recommended this hotel to us in the past. I must say, at first we were hesitant due to the reviews. It wasn't as bad as people make it out to be, but we did experience a relatively quiet and calm weekend and we didn't hear any loud kids running around or anything of the kind. While our experience with the staff was beyond amazing, the building needs a lot of work. The hotel has a camping outdoors cabin theme. AC was not the best in the room but felt freezing in the lobby. Breakfast was simple and not bad at all for a complimentary breakfast. Many bars to check out nearby and a bike path along the Mississippi river. The most disappointing part of our stay was NO HOT WATER to shower with in the morning. I went to stop by the front desk on my way to breakfast before check out to address the issue, but it appears that it's a building wide problem and the front desk girl was already being yelled at by a different guest for the same thing. I spoke to the front desk afterwards and asked for a discount instead of moving rooms and she apologized for what just happened and for the hotel not having hot water. All in all we enjoyed our stay at Stoney Creek Inn. We did not go in with high hopes but were pleasantly surprised with the breakfast, pool, location, and staff. I think the aesthetic and rooms could be updated all around. Allie, Elizabeth, Sara, and Abby were all amazing during our stay. We are looking forward to visiting in the future and hope it will be a lot better next time.

The rooms are clean and neat. The staff is super friendly! We loved the pool and the cabin feel! Breakfast included. Our room was quiet and we completely enjoyed ourselves both times we have stayed! We will be back. Highly recommend!

The rooms were very clean, even the bathroom. They were quite. Some people may not like a ceiling fan, but I love having one to sleep to. The fishing theme of the hotel was tasteful and not tacky.
I was greated by a very friendly concierge.
Staff were friendly and respectful of my dog that is nervous of people. The area is nice with a lot of walking along the river. I will definitely stay here again.

Stayed here last week and I won’t bother coming back again . Let’s start with the rooms , I paid over 400.00 for a weekend stay . The room was filthy . House keeping isn’t doing their job correctly , it was old candy wrappers , candy on the floor that appeared to be skittles . The linen had stains and someone forgot to insert the soap , shampoo and conditioner. Next I’ll like to add how I traveled here for a peace of mind and still didn’t get any . So many kids ran the halls all night and to top it off there’s a pub near by that plays really loud music until 3:00 am which kept myself and my new born baby up practically all night . The following morning all I wanted was some hot breakfast and coffee, once I arrived they’re were over 20 teenagers who appeared to be drunk hovering over all the food and devouring it using profanity and just being extremely rude . Not only was I disgusted the other guest were as well. Never again will I stay at this location .

As a further update on my stay. not only did my daughter my girlfriend and I contract pink eye I was over charged 4 days after my stay for unknown reasons and can not reach anyone who can tell me why I was charged 50 dollars extra 4 days after the room was paid. Not only was the staff terrible and the establishment was dirty we were over charged I will never stay at a Stoney creek inn again. this trip has cause more problems than I could have ever imagined. How this place is in business and passes inspections is beyond my comprehension. It’s truly ran by people who only care about taking as much of your money as possible while doing the absolute least amount on their part. I’ve stayed at super 8s that are nicer and cleaner with more friendly staff and a price that doesn’t break the bank.

Stayed here for a week while in town for work at Rock Island Arsenal. I wanted to give a smaller company a shot, but regretted it from check in. I had read online that it was recently renovated, but that is quite a stretch. The rooms are dated, which isn’t all bad if that was the only draw back. Breakfast opened at 6:30 AM, but for three days straight, it was totally empty by 7:30 AM. On the third day, I let the front desk know and they said there should be an attendant. The next two days it appeared to be better attended to. I got in later the first night and ate dinner at the bar. The bartender also pulls double duty in the “kitchen”. Not an ideal situation. He seemed to be okay with it, but as people placed orders, I could hear the wait times on food increasing. Friendly guy doing his best, but clearly not set up for success. After work on the first day, my key card wouldn’t open my door. I approached the front desk and the girl anticipated my issue, and asked if my cards weren’t working. I’m fairly certain they weren’t initially activated for the duration of the stay. She asked me when I was leaving and reprogrammed them for the full duration. There is also quite a bit of visible dust on the decorative elevator shaft. The glass wall exposes what is supposed to be decoration, but the appearance is overshadowed by the excessive dust. It would be worth shutting down to clean. Speaking of the elevator, it was out of service twice during my 5 day stay. In one occasion, I pushed the button and could hear someone on the inside saying, “I don’t think the doors opening”. Being there for work, I needed to print a one page document. I asked the front desk if there was a business center. I was told, “Yeah, if you go down the hall there’s a room with a sign that says “Huck’s”. It has comfy chairs.” When I explained I was looking for a business center with a printer, she said no they didn’t have anything like that. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. Next time, I’ll stay at The Element and collect my Marriott points. I had counterparts stay there on this trip and were very pleased.

Very nice hotel for the price. The rooms are very nice. The property was recently renovated and looks beautiful. The pool area is very nice. There were too many kids for us to think about going to the pool. We knew beforehand that the hot tub wasn't open yet. Breakfast was average. Again, there were too many kids, and they were constantly filling their plates, so we had a hard time getting food at 9 a.m. We will stay here again when we visit the area. Good value for the money.

We had our daughter’s birthday party here and it was absolutely amazing! The grounds were clean and well kept, the pool and hot tub areas were clean and easy to find. Our party room was set up so nicely with linens and cutlery. Food was fabulous! The hotel staff were so helpful, personable and kind. Our daughter’s party was everything she wanted and more! We will definitely being going back for more parties!

Everything was great from Staff to cleanliness of room and they had a great breakfast however I was to have 2 Queen beds in the room. I had two full size uncomfortable beds instead with very used pillows. We are not used to this type bedding. *Needless to say, we did NOT get much sleep, so I was very dissapointed. 😞

We came to Moline for a family gathering. This hotel was exceptional. Way above average for the price we payed. The area around it very nice and accessible. Easy to get across the river into Davenport & into Milan, ILL. Where my sister lives. The staff was the best & breakfast was very good. Would definitely stay there again.

I stayed at the Wyndham Moline from July 14 to 18 with my 8-year-old daughter while visiting family, and it was a fantastic experience overall. I had been staying at a nearby hotel that was terrible, so I was relieved and impressed the moment we arrived here.

The front desk staff were professional, friendly, and check-in was fast and easy. On our first night, we had a minor issue with our room, but the lady at the front desk was incredibly accommodating. She immediately arranged for us to switch rooms and even brought the new room key directly to us so we didn’t have to go back downstairs. All we had to do was pack up, and we were comfortably settled in a new room within minutes. That level of service really stood out.

The rooms were super clean, the hot water worked great, and the pool area was well maintained. Breakfast each morning was hot, fresh, and the area was kept fully stocked and clean. It made starting the day easy and enjoyable.

The hotel also offers great views and is located right next to a walking path, which was perfect for peaceful strolls and getting fresh air.

If you’re visiting the Quad Cities and staying on the Illinois side, I highly recommend this hotel. It’s clean, comfortable, family-friendly, and stress-free. We had no complaints and would definitely stay here again the next time we’re in town.

The hotel staff was wonderful. We were there with a group, and they let us use the lobby for late night board games. I had seen in some other reviews that people had issues with air conditioning. We had no problem at all!! The air worked great, and we were even too cold at one point. The hot tub didn't really have jets, so that was a little disappointing, but that was really my only "complaint." The location by the river is lovely, and if you're there for any length of time, you need to take a ride on the Channel Cat Water Taxi that docks right behind the hotel.

We were in town for a family funeral on Memorial Weekend. Which was a very busy weekend in the Quad Cities and rooms were hard to come by. I was fortunate to get 2 rooms reserved. When we checked in the one room was the confirmed room but the other was not we went to desk and talked to lady on staff and she was snarky but advised there was nothing she could to do as she did not have the room we were confirmed to have. The next morning I checked with new staff member Kara and she was so polite and helpful. Very strong customer service qualities. We need supplies during our stay and she accommodated those. She is a great asset to your team. The hotel is always clean, and very comfortable to stay at. I will be staying there again in a month when I return for a different family function.
