This hotel was wonderful- everything seems to be brand new. I came to Paramus to visit family and they warned me that this hotel did not have the best reputation in the past (which is why I was sure to leave a review) but we had a great stay! Clean rooms, nice staff and even hot breakfast that didn’t end until 10am. I even got up one morning and used the gym- it was nice and empty. I will definitely stay here again when I’m in the area— the ONLY bad thing was trying to turn into the parking lot if you are NOT coming off the Parkway- we missed the driveway twice because we could not get over across traffic- terrible entry design but other than that- this place was great.

Everything was great with the location and breakfast. However, the shower did not have hot water. The front desk staff at night (Hispanic woman) was very rude and standoffish during check-in time. The front desk staff in the morning and overnight was much more pleasant (Hispanic male). No complaints otherwise.

I stayed here about 3 weeks ago. The room was nice enough. It needed to be swept, there was visible hair and debris on the floor. The room also smelled terrible, I'm not sure if there are drainage issues or if we were near a body of water. We were in a jacuzzi room, but didn't feel comfortable trying to use it because of the aforementioned problems.

If I could give negative 4, I would for this hotel. Based on reviews, it got 4 stars and is supposedly a 3-star hotel, and I don't know how they were able to pull that off. 1st, the entrance is located in the same lane as the exit ramp from another road, making it a hazard for entry. The staff pretends to be nice, but they are very superficial and probably hate their job. The parking lot is horrendous and full of asphalt patches. I asked for extra pillows, and they said they had none for the 2 horrible days I stayed. After they cleaned the room the 2nd day, they left me with no soap, Removed the secondary shower curtain, and the floor flooded, and the shower head was corroded and sprayed outside the shower adding to the problem. The shower drain was clogged, and their was no water pressure at the sink. There are plenty of other hotels in the area and be forewarned. STAY AWAY!!

Kim and myself (Devon), are two of your most frequent guests. Your hotel is a solid 4 stars. Only 1 change and we'll give you 5 stars. The eggs and sausage have got to go. Real bad. Powdered eggs, not to mention overcooked. The rooms are great. Whirlpool rooms are nice. We both agree Allen does a great job up front at the desk. Service is great. Rooms are spotless. Cleaning crew does a great job. No complaints except the food. Chocolate jelly doughnuts for breakfast is a no no. We've been to many Best Western locations. The breakfast really needs to be re-worked.

If you want a hotel that's located in a construction zone, that hasn't been updated since the 70's or 80's and has stains on the furniture, then this hotel is for you. After a difficult search for the entrance, threading through half-built condos and commercial properties, we encountered a lobby that looked like a 7-11. The staff was nice with no seeming awareness that this place did not make the best first impression. The only clean looking items in the room were the beds - the rest of furniture looked ancient and stained. No offense to the hard-working staff that are keeping this going, but the Hampton Inn by Hilton chain should be ashamed to put their name on this dinosaur of a hotel,

I was staying here for work. Unfortunately my flight was late so I didn't have time to check in before work. I finished at 11:30pm and went straight to the hotel to crash since I had been up almost 36 hours. When I woke up I began to unpack, and this is when I noticed that my bathroom had not been cleaned properly at all. There were clumps of hair across a few sections of the floor that seemed to be mixed in with dirt. I opened my closet to set up my work clothes and there was a huge pile of dirty towels that had some kind of dark stains on it. Was just truly gross! Unfortunately I had slept in so I didn't have too much time to invest in a solution so I called the front desk, told them the situation and they sent up a cleaning lady. She walked in and was disgusted as well and agreed that this was unacceptable. Apparently she took photos to show her supervisor and was going to update the management soon after. I got dressed and headed to work for another full day. On the way out I passed the front desk, restated the problem and they assured me that they would speak with management and get back to me. The next morning, I went downstairs for breakfast and stopped by the front desk. The worker there looked at me and asked "may I help you" as if he hadn't seen me before. I politely reminded him of his promise to speak with management and have a solution. All they said they would do was give me some free chips and a drink from their snack bar beside the reception. I told them that this was unacceptable for any paying customer and that something more should be done. Since my work was concluding, I wouldn't be coming back that day. They said that management would call me back to discuss the manner and offer another solution. I am still waiting for that call. Since I paid for a professional service from a company that I visit often, I was expecting the bare minimum which was not met. An unfinished room which was still dirty from the previous use, with attention to detail for basic things like picking up the towels I can only imagine what else was not disinfected. Then to top it all off there was no followthrough from management with hollow promises and it was up to me to keep coming back to see them. This hotel has really diminished my faith in the Marriott brand!

I left my make up bag there when I stayed May 3 - May 4. The staff called said they found it and I could pay for a shipping label to have it sent out. In the week it took me to get the label and fedex to pick up the make up; things were stolen out of it. When I received my items all the brand new items I bought May 1 are missing. I called to speak to manager and he basically swore he trusted his employees and did not know what to tell other than he could upgrade a room if stayed there in the future. It was a $200 loss and I packed the bag myself there was no need for anyone to go into it and yet they did and stole from me. They won’t do anything to compensate being robbed. I have stayed in so many Hilton hotels this year and I have never had this issue at all. Beware the thieves they obviously employee there.

It crazy this was my treat to myself for my birthday this year as I barely splurge on things for myself and just completely deflated that it was all stolen like I am not a single parent. Disgusting how the manager stood by his employee knowing that obviously it was robbed by them as they found it and kept in their area where guest are not allowed; like who else took the items. Attaching photo where you clearly see they took a whole group of product from front left area as this bag was completely filled to capacity. I will be calling corporate because this ridiculous and I will never stay in another Hilton hotel.

Stayed here just recently for a full week .
Location for me was excellent.
Room was a nice size .
The Breakfast was very good, from the choices to the four full
coffee dispensers, and the area was large and clean.
USA Todays available for reading with breakfast.
Only issue I had was a minor one and that someone had entered my stay for one night not seven so my key did not work a few nights and had to go to the front desk and after the second time the gentleman who was on duty noticed that and corrected it and remainder of my stay there was no issue.
Would I recommend- yes and will I stay again Yes.

This hotel was amazing. I was debating between this hotel, courtyard by Marriott, and the best western all in Paramus. I’m so thrilled we picked the Hampton inn. It was by far the best location (very quiet) out of the three, so worth paying a little more. It was very clean, no smells. I loved picking the room and contactless check inn/digital key. They had an amazing free breakfast buffet, but most importantly wonderful staff. We forgot something in our room and the staff called right away so we were able to come back and pick it up. We are so appreciative of their kindness, courtesy, and overall wonderful service. We will definitely stay here again if traveling in the area. I highly recommend this place! Not far from MetLife and American Dream
