Charming place very close to Old Town Fairfax. Delightful host, who provided a satisfying ample breakfast in the morning. A real value.

This was the perfect place for weary parents to have a short, restful getaway. Our room was quiet, comfortable, and had everything we needed. There are excellent dining options within a short walk (

Stafford House is a gorgeous property tucked away behind a treeline in Fairfax that makes it feel like a weekend away from the city. Everything from the host greeting us outdoors as we arrived, the comfy bed, in-room jacuzzi and sauna, room delivered breakfast, the atmosphere, and well maintained rooms was incredible.

I highly recommend staying here and I cannot wait to visit again!

Absolutely wonderful stay to hear a concert at Hylton. Bedroom and bath modern but tasteful. Breakfast (wheeled in on cart to bedroom - probably because we were the only guests that night) was unexpected delight! Host was engaging and helpful. We'll be back!

Always bring earplugs when I stay away from home so traffic noise was ok for us. Donna was a great host you can tell she loves it the extra touches you receive while staying is nice. Enjoyed the claw-tub and the water pressure is excellent. Breakfast is served in the room we got the latest which cuts off at 9:30. Beautiful room service trolley love the vintage. Would stay again, very private escape. Beautiful grounds as well.

My wife and I booked the King room for our wedding night. The owner was so kind and helpful. The room was HUGE! Great decor and amenities (hot tub and sauna), although we didn't use them.
The breakfast that came with the room was so good! Belgian waffle with crispy bacon (Yun!) and some fresh fruit.
Such a great experience! If you are in the area and want a cozy place to stay, I highly recommend the Stafford house.

This B&B is a great place to stay and centrally located in Fairfax. The bathroom is a large and very well equipped. The hostess was really friendly and made the stay that much better. Breakfast was superb as well. The road out front does get a lot of traffic during the day, but quiets down at night, I had no problem sleeping. Thank you Donna.

One of the worst experiences I have had with any hotel management. Front desk was rude and unhelpful when I was dealing a mix up in a reservation. They lied to me and assured me I wouldn't be billed...but I was. There are many other options nearby who will treat you professionally.

I wanted to take the time and write a review for the manassas va battleview location. I spend most of the week at the location, and have for over a year.
Thats alot of days. One thing I can say is that I greatly appreciate the staff and the overall experience every time Im there. I also would like to acknowledge the professional and lovely Natasha.
She is always friendly and makes sure I have everything I need when I am there. IHG needs to know they have a wonderful staff!

Amazing breakfast. Got stuck next to some Crack Heads, not really, two ladies knocking on the wrong door. Nevertheless hoes gotta eat.

An amazing place to stay at. FYI. Get a room not facing the roads, will most likely be quieter.

Best part. Biscuit and gravy, etc for breakfast.

For the most part this was a nice place, the breakfast was good, the pool was clean and well maintained and the staff was nice.
My only complaint was the smell in the room. We were on the first floor in a king bedroom with a sofa sleeper. The room was clean but it smelled musty and had poor air circulation. The bedroom was freezing but the sofa area was hot. If the bedroom door is shut then the bedroom is cold and musty and and the living area was hit and humid. I always travel with a diffuser and it barely worked to mask the musty smell. I should have brought two balance the lack of airflow and help with the smell. Needless to say I didn't sleep well. My kids had a great!

I have stayed in this hotel 3 times, though next time, I'll probably try another of the three IHG properties that are right in this area. At this hotel, the staff is friendly and the rooms are fine - clean and in good shape. There is one flaw, which for me is just annoying: the guest bathrooms on the first floor - like virtually every other hotel of this class in America - are locked. But , UNLIKE every other hotel I've stayed out - and that's a large number - in THIS hotel, you have to get a key from the front desk. Apparently when they did a major remodel several years back, they simply neglected to order proper RFID locks for the first floor bathrooms. So, they have RFID locks on the fitness center, the exterior doors, and all the guest rooms (of course). But, apparently apparently owing only to not wanting to pay to fix the oversight - the management of this property does not empower their guests to use the first floor guest bathrooms on their own - you have to go to the front desk, and ask permission and assistance (they walk you to the bathroom and unlock it for you). Why this matters to me: I usually wake up before my wife does, and I try to exit the room quietly w/out waking her. At that point, I am headed for the rest room! In fact, when sharing a room, there are many times when it is more considerate - or convenient - to use the public bathroom on the first floor than the shared bath in the room. So, this property is OK, but my recommendation - until this one brings itself up to par from a hospitality standpoint - is that you check out the other properties which are equally convenient in the area. Oddly, this property (as I look this morning) is the most expensive of the IHG properties in the area - by a few dollars per night.
