Great hotel bargain with a free hot breakfast and nice indoor pool. We had a first floor room with a walkout to the river. I messed up my reservation and thought I had more nights than I actually booked. We were out sightseeing when we were supposed to be checking out. Hotel staff notified me and kindly packed up our belongings since the hotel was sold out. Definitely staying there next time we are in town.
What a lovely jewel hidden in Peterborough. I booked last minute online and by the time I arrived at the hotel 30 minutes later, exhausted from a long drive, my keys were already there for me. Check-in was efficient and the staff was professional and courteous. Didn’t expect a charger for my EV so that was a nice surprise. The room was extremely clean and meticulously maintained. Lighting was warm, not your frequently cold white look. Bathroom recently updated with a nice shower. Looks like there has been ongoing upgrades as necessary. You can see the owners really care about this place. I would suggest upgrading the carpets next. The free breakfast was well-stocked with many hot and cold options including cereals, eggs, sausage, French toast and oatmeal. I’ve always loved metal utensils so it was nice to be able to use them with proper plates as well (as opposed to plastic and paper). The river view was also another nice touch. This is a lovely place, I will definitely be back.
We were very satisfied with our stay here. Although the building is older, the rooms were clean and fresh with plenty of towels and toiletries. The front desk were helpful and provided me with menstrual products when I didn't have any. The free breakfast had a decent selection. The baked goods such as banana bread and danishes were really good.
We stayed herr this past weekends with 3 hockey teams, the hotel was amazing, very accommodating and clean. We stayed on the main floor, on the river side, it was such a beautiful spot. The breakfast had lots of delicious choices, the hotel was clean, the staff was super friendly and even when we had all of our teams in the pool at the same time, they didn't complain or kick us out.

Where Do I Begin... Absolutely Amazing! - I did quite a bit of research on hotels in the Peterborough area before making a reservation & I have to say I definitely made the right choice! All the reviews definitely lived up to my expectations!
From the moment you drive onto the property and walk into the lobby, you can immediately see, smell and feel how clean and well-maintained this place is - I was told this location is privately owned by an older couple (I believe) and that is why it is so well-kept over mainstream chains - Sparking Clean - From the Lobby to your room - Just immaculate!
Beds & Pillows were very comfortable!

Shower/Water Pressure - Perfect!
Overall, felt very safe and sound sleeping at this hotel.
Lobby has a 24/7 coffee (and other hot beverages) machine & a purified water dispenser which was a wonderful added touch and very useful for me.
Pool was very clean - Spotless & Heated! - Hot Tub was great too but very small in size - I wouldnt feel too comfortable if someone else was in there with me tbh lol !
Breakfast was nice and fresh!
And last but certainly not least — the Customer Service: Truly exceptional! I want to take a moment to highlight one individual in particular — TARA, the afternoon/evening front desk associate. From the moment I walked in, she greeted me with genuine warmth and professionalism.

The hotel was good for the price. Pool was nice and warm. Floor around pool needs work. Rooms were clean and cleaning staff were very nice.

Stayed here a few times. Staff is very polite and helpful. The room is fine with a comfortable mattress. Unfortunately, the floors are thin - whoever was in the room above me was stomping around like an elephant late into the evening and early in the morning. If you want peace and quiet, as for a top-floor room.

I was very very disturbed by the bad smell in the corridors leading to my room on the fourth floor, and on top of that, the smell penetrated the room.

Pretty smack dab in the middle of everywhere. We didn't have hot water in our room. Turns out, they were replacing a boiler and told us to just run the water to fill the lines. It never worked (of course it didn't) it was like they had a burnt out element, but nobody knew what to do about it.
They did switch our room to one that had hot water, but that took a day.
Breakfast was awesome. Hot water was kind of a one off, they'll get that sorted. The pool was fun too. Great location to do things around the city.
