What looked to be a blood stain on the carpet. The phone had no cord was not even connected to the wall. One of the lamps had a short in it, kept flickering on and off even after we got a light bulb from the front desk. The screen looked to be pried away from the top of the window like someone was trying to get in the room. My and my friend didn’t feel comfortable because there was random cars just sitting out side the hotel with people in them sitting for hours. Also what made us leave in the middle of the morning was little bugs we killed about ten Im not sure what the bugs were but I wasn’t staying to find out. Told the front desk we were checking out early because there was bugs in our room and just got a okay that that was it. Would not recommend at all.
This was the dirtiest hotel room I’ve ever seen. Crusty, gross crumbs & dirt, bottle caps and garbage on the floor around the beds, it smelled terrible and had bed bugs. My sister woke up with bites and we ended up bringing bed bugs home with us. The service wasn’t great either, and the back door had tape on it and didn’t close properly, but obviously my biggest gripe is the disgusting room and bed bugs that I’m still battling in my own home now after staying at this place a month & 1/2 ago. I wish I remembered our room number, but I suspect they’re all like this, they don’t know how to clean properly. Oh! There was also a puddle in the hallway with a bedspread thrown on top of it! Sketchy people pacing the hallway, JUST STAY AWAY! DO NOT STAY HERE unless you can somehow confirm that they’ve eradicated the bed bug infestation, hired proper cleaning staff and fixed the doors and leaks.
+ The front desk clerk was asleep when we checked in at 10pm. After ringing the bell several times and then pounding on the counter, he woke to check us in!
+ We are Wyndham Rewards Diamond members, but the Clerk would not upgrade us to a Deluxe suite, even though we confirmed suites were available.
+ I had 2 other reservations and could not get an upgrade on any, even though we confirmed suites were available.
+ No fruit for breakfast.
+ The cereal was awful. The 4 cereal canister offering had 1 Fruit Loops, and the other 3 were filled with Cheerios. No Raisin Brand as labeled.. No Corn Flakes as labeled. The next day, Fruit Loops were empty, but still had 3 containers of full of Cheerios only!
+ A mouse was seen running across the hall way!
+ The staff was mopping the breakfast area floor while we were in the area trying to have breakfast, 20 minutes before the end of the breakfast time... pathetic!
+ They ran out of coffee creamer and hung an "Out of Order" sign on the bin.
+ Two members of my family had bug bites on their feet after sleeping in their room!
This is too much poor service to risk staying here again. Management appears to be too cheap to maintain the basic supplies and I don't care to have to put up with that again.
FAQs about Bay City hotels with Jacuzzi in room
What is the price range for hotels with a hot tub in the room in Bay City?
Hotels in Bay City with hot tubs or spa‑type amenities show a wide range of pricing. More economical options start around$60‑$80 per night, for modest hotels with hot tub access (sometimes shared or partial features). Mid‑range stays tend to fall around $100‑$130, offering better rooms, more amenities, better locations. On the higher end, boutique inns or special historic places with full spa‑style or in‑room hot tubs can cost $300+ per night. The range really depends a lot on which hotel, how luxurious the room, and what time of year.
When is the best time to visit Bay City for a hotel stay with a hot tub in the room?
The most pleasant times to visit Bay City for both outdoor activity and relaxing evenings (with a hot tub) are from mid‑June through early September. Those months bring warm temperatures, nicer days, and more daylight, making everything more enjoyable. If you prefer fewer crowds and better rates, the shoulder seasons—May or late September—also work well: weather is milder, still fairly warm, and hotels are often less busy and more affordable. Winters are cold and often snowy, which can make travel difficult and reduce some outdoor options, though cold weather plus a hot tub can still feel cozy if you don’t mind the chill.
