This is an older location. You can tell by how it is kept up. We did not get the room that we chose in advance on the app. And the guy at the desk wrote the wrong room number on the envelope holding the keys. Luckily my husband figured out the correct room number. Room was clean, but you could tell maid staff were in a hurry since drawers were left open and lights left on. The location is right next to the highway, so easy on/off, but can easily hear the traffic when trying to sleep.
The staff was wonderful and it was a smooth visit with my service dog. The room was comfortable and clean and there were lots of great food options near the hotel. We didn’t hear any road noise which is impressive because I’m a light sleeper and our room faced the highway. My only recommendation would be to have either another protein at breakfast or something without egg (like potatoes) for people with allergies. We will definitely stay here again!
Rooms were clean and the breakfast had a large assortment. Unfortunately we had to change rooms 3 times during our 1 night stay. The A/C wasn't working in the 1st room. The shower wasn't working in the second room and we didnt notice until after coming back from the pool. The clerk said unfortunately the maintenance guy only shows up every two weeks.
The room was lovely except for the bed had broken feet, and was uneven. Not horrible, but I ended up turning around to sleep so I wasent sleeping downhill. Location was fantastic for a travels, and it was quiet and clean. Would stop again if travelling through the area.

We were traveling cross country and stayed in Hays for the night. The staff were friendly and attentive. We needed a pet friendly room and the Hampton Inn had one pet room available. The room itself was clean and tidy. My only complaint is the road noise when staying in an East facing room (the Home Depot side). It was difficult to fall asleep because of the highway noise. Breakfast was as expected with good hot coffee. I would stay there again, but on the other side of the hotel further from the highway.

Great location right off the interstate! Front desk staff was kind enough to put us in a room to see our truck and trailer and keep our cat in the room. Comfy beds and a decent room.
Comfortable bed. And great massaging shower head. Made for a restful night. Conveniently located just off I-70 in Hays, KS. And the breakfast was hot and offered variety. After driving through a torrential storm to get there, we sooo appreciated the clean, dry room, and at a reasonable rate.

For the price you get really good amenities. The rooms were 100 % clean with nice appliances. The breakfast was good, and it was nice and quiet and as a woman traveling alone, I felt very safe. I would definitely stay here again.
