I’ve been staying here for about 4 years now and they always deliver. I am writing this review specifically for the outstanding customer service I received by Leann. We had some accommodation issues with noisy neighbors and she went above and beyond to help us out the night before my surgery so I could get a restful night sleep before my operation. Leann handled our situation with tact and professionalism as well as empathy for my situation. I’m very grateful and wanted to bring it to management’s attention that she is the reason for our situation not escalating. Thank you!

This Hotel was 4-11min from anyplace we wanted to go. and The neighborhood is quiet and walkable. The rooms are very well appointed with great shower heads and a full use kitchen. They furnished a couch, chair, silverware, and dishwasher.

The beds were comfortable and so were the pillows.

This was a very nice place for a short or long stay, and they had enough of a pool and workout room to not feel crowded

One of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in. The cleanliness and comfort were wonderful! Wonderful (free) breakfast varied day to day, which was nice. Free coffee all day, flavored water and multiple hand sanitizing stations were appreciated. I liked the varied places to sit and relax in the lobby.

The shuttle to the Mayo Clinic, both St Mary’s and the Gonda building was very convenient.

The location was nice and quiet. The room amenities included light exercise equipment.

I can’t fully express how exceptional our experience was at this hotel. Every detail was thoughtfully designed to ease the burden during a very challenging time in our lives. The amenities were outstanding — complimentary breakfast, light dinners with beer and wine on select evenings, in-room kitchenettes, free laundry facilities, the cleanest accommodations imaginable, and the best hotel gym and pool I’ve ever seen. The free shuttle service to the Mayo Clinic was an invaluable bonus.

What truly set this hotel apart, though, was the sense of care and compassion we felt from the moment we arrived. When you’re navigating the stress of a loved one’s serious illness, far from home and work, it’s an immense relief not to have to worry about the basics. This hotel took care of everything.

In all my years of travel, I have never encountered a hotel that offered such a perfect blend of professionalism, comfort, and genuine warmth. It made all the difference—and we are deeply grateful.

I truly cannot express how comfortable and happy we were with our stay here!

My husband and I often have to fly out to the Mayo Clinic, and this hotel has become our preferred place to stay—truly our home away from home. During a particularly difficult time, my husband had to stay here for several months while receiving treatment, and the comfort, care, and consistency of this hotel made all the difference.

The staff is absolutely wonderful—always friendly, helpful, and compassionate. They go out of their way to make guests feel welcomed and supported, which means so much during long medical stays. The rooms are consistently clean, quiet, and well-maintained, creating a peaceful environment that we’ve come to rely on.

We’re so grateful for this hotel and the sense of stability and comfort it provides. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else when visiting the Mayo Clinic.

What a great staff and honest hotel! We were planning a stay with a bunch of kids and they contacted us to say their pool would be closed during that weekend for maintenance. They could have not told us and just took our money. So appreciative for their communication! We did end up chosing another hotel with an open pool, but would book them again for their honesty.

Although I’m a solo business traveler, this is a terrific place for families. The indoor pool play area is terrific! The front desk staff is incredible - from printing out docs for me to getting me set up with detergent, she’s always very helpful!

This place is so run down. Doors falling off in room, not very clean. No air conditioning working throughout building and pool area. Two box fans for "circulating air" in the pool area. Broken tiles in the pool area. This place used to be super nice, not anymore.

We stayed here for 3 nights in 90+ degree weather. While the hallway air conditioners had trouble keeping up, the rooms were cool, though a bit damp. It's not a new hotel, but the rooms were clean.
The service was excellent. All the receptionists were friendly and helpful. Our check-in receptionist, Danielle, cheerfully accommodated a room request.
We stayed here last year, and I was pleased to see the maintenance person was the same, friendly, energetic man who helped me with a slow drain in 2024. He's a keeper!

I am not sure where to begin. Upon entering the establishment you are smacked in the face with the odor of chlorine. The pool appears to be a hit but the stench and the wet carpet and moisture in the air is overwhelming. Had there been availability elsewhere we would have never checked in.
The process of checking in was smooth. The path to the rooms had you going through the pool area, soaked carpet and people sitting in wet suits along the row of rooms that bordered the pool. The 2nd floor room that was away from the pool still had the strong odor of chlorine and the room upon entering was moist and very warm. The double beds were neatly made however, the sheets on the one bed were so full of holes that I am not sure how housekeeping could have missed them. If the room wasn't used in quite some time perhaps they have a major moth issue. It was horrible. The positive the location is very close to a restaurant that had good food. The room offered a blow dryer as well. Other than that. I would not recommend this hotel. If this hotel is the standard for all Best Westerns I'd stay away.
