Had took my wife here on our honeymoon, and I’m sure glad I went here to stay! Nice pool/jacuzzi and nice outdoor patio (shared with others) that has a fireplace. They had light complimentary breakfast options, such as yogurt, muffins, orange/apple juice. We had got the room that included the fireplace/jacuzzi tub in the room, and it was very nice relaxing in the jacuzzi while sipping on some door county wine 🙂I definitely will recommend family and friends to come here, and we will definitely be returning back to this hotel in the future!

My husband and I stayed at the Ashbrooke for the first time for 3 nights in July (2023). We loved our beautiful suite with a fireplace, comfortable bed, large bathroom and wet bar. We also enjoyed the tranquil setting. In October, my girlfriends and I stayed three nights. My friends loved it, too. The front desk staff were very accommodating and welcoming. This is a lovely hotel for peace and quiet.

This is not my first stay at the Ashebrooke. This is not my first review of it. But my ratings have not changed. It is by far the best place to stay if you want a place that's literally so well kept that it feels almost brand new. The rooms are deluxe, super clean and quiet. The guests are often repeat customers who appreciate and respect the care that goes into every detail. The amenities are top notch and the pool is absolutely spotless. My only regret is that this true gem of a destination is not open all year round!

This used to be our “go to place.” We weren’t so impressed this time. At this price point, A selection of fresh bakery would’ve been appreciated as opposed to the prepackaged muffins and hard boiled eggs which tasted of plastic…at the very least set out a toaster and loaf of bread. The room was clean but was not made up for our second night. This was never the case on our prior visits.

Beyond wonderful experience. Loved this hotel! What a great place to stay, everything was top notch. Can't say enough about the condition of the rooms and the grounds, great to see and stay at a place so well maintained and EXCEPTIONALLY CLEAN. Wonderful and friendly staff. Highly, highly recommend

This is an exceptionally clean hotel which is number one on my list. The cleaning crew does an impeccable job here. It has a beautiful outdoor Sun Deck with a fire pit and the grounds are extremely well-maintained. There is a beautiful indoor pool with a nice hot tub. It does not come with breakfast if that's your thing. You can walk to everything in the main area for the most part, and it is right near the Door County Trolley Tours if you're interested in doing that as well. We had a whirlpool suite with a wet bar and microwave and refrigerator. The bathrooms are exceptionally clean and the shower water is beyond refreshing with the high power shower heads. It only had a few small negatives. The microwave is really really low inside of a cabinet. If you are unable to bend you wouldn't even be able to use it. It is very difficult to see what you are doing unless you lay on the floor. Also the bed was extremely hard and very uncomfortable in the room we stayed in. All in all I would definitely stay here again and just ask for a room with a little softer bed. They are beautifully decorated rooms with beautiful artwork. The staff was very kind. I'm in my mid forties and there was no children at this point which I appreciate.

Best kept secret?! Booked a last minute room for one night at The Pfister. Just a casual trip with a friend but we were blown away upon arrival by the grandiose lobby and high painted ceilings. I love staying in historic hotels when I am traveling and this one was by far - my favorite to date. I ended up purchasing a book I loved it so much and wanted to know more. Darryl was the engineer who came and helped us with our TV when it wasn't working. He was so kind and helpful and it didn't go unnoticed. I will be back to The Pfister very soon. Next time I hope to stay more than one night so I can spend more time exploring the hotel's art on every floor!

I’ve always loved the Pfister, with its charm and history. Every part of the lobby is gorgeous and the lobby bar is a great place to observe it all. We stopped in on a chilly day in December to get some after work drinks, and really enjoyed the beautiful Christmas tree and people watching as we sipped. The staff was all friendly and helped us make our drink decisions, I enjoyed the pumpkin chai martini and some Parmesan fries. Everything was delicious and we will definitely be back for more!

This hotel is absolutely beautiful but the rooms do not make up how much I paid to be here. The beds feel like they have been here for years they have body indents to the point I could barely sleep. My boyfriend isn’t 21 so they took away the ability to order room service because of his age. I understand not being able to order alcohol but I couldn’t order any food. Upon arrival out room wasn’t ready so we had to wait longer and the front desk lady said we could come and go as we please but didn’t tell us we needed the room card to do that so we got stuck at the exit of the parking garage because she didn’t give us the key card. There are good points to this place but I would never come back because of the rooms and the miscommunication when we first arrived.

My sister and I stayed here while in town for our brother's wedding. From the moment we checked in, we received top notch service. Each and every employee we interacted with provided superb customer service. The above average training is evident, as is the pride that each employee takes in working for this beautiful hotel. Combine that with pristine grounds, immaculate accommodations, and amazing views, we couldn't have asked for a better stay! Thank you so much!

Our recent stay at The Pfister Hotel was nothing short of extraordinary, and I have a few exceptional staff members to thank for that — Alisa and Dina :).Alisa, one of the butler staff members, deserves special recognition for making my husband's birthday stay truly magical. Her thoughtful gesture of sending a bottle of champagne and a delightful dessert to our room made our evening extra special. She even surprised us with some vouchers to use – a completely unexpected and thoughtful touch. Alisa's attention to detail and dedication to ensuring our experience was exceptional did not go unnoticed. Her friendly and helpful nature truly left a lasting impression on us and played a significant role in our decision to extend our stay at this remarkable hotel.Dina at the front desk has consistently been a delight over the years. Her professionalism, warmth, and willingness to go above and beyond for guests make her an outstanding representative for the business. We'll always remember the kindness and courtesy she showed us during our previous visit, and it was wonderful to see her again during this stay. While The Pfister Hotel itself is remarkable due to its rich history and unique aesthetic, Alisa and Dina are the true gems that keep us coming back. Their exceptional service is a rarity. I would consider myself lucky to work with them any day, whether as a customer, coworker, or anything else. They are simply good people who clearly enjoy creating the best possible experience for anyone fortunate enough to interact with them.Thank you to The Pfister Hotel for having such outstanding staff members who make every visit feel like a home away from home. We can’t wait for our next visit, thanks in large part to the wonderful experiences provided by Alisa and Dina.Sincerely,Jacob
