We went on the sleigh ride and dinner. The staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome. The highlight of the evening is to listen to the unique guitar music of Bruce, with his like Homegrown Tomatoes and the number one horse logging song.

DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE ESPECIALLY FOR OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES!! This place has the worst nordic shop I have ever come across- everyone in the shop is scowling and look like they want to hurt you. There's a blonde girl who works at the nordic desk that is incredibly rude and doesn't even know anything about nordic skiing. I've seen them dump their guests on the nordic trails without any information and watch the guests struggle to put on their skis and to find the trail not to mention they've gotten zero guidance on how to ski. This place has the most unprofessional staff I have ever seen there is frequent screaming and yelling at each other while guests are present (how embarassing). The groomed nordic trails are awesome however, that is the only positive. Do yourself a favor and stay away from lone mountain ranch.

I can't say enough great things about Lone Mountain Ranch! It is now a family favorite and we can't wait to get back there! My wife, two kids and I stayed at Lone Mountain Ranch at the end of August for four nights and had an amazing time! Definitely go for the all inclusive package that includes the activities, meals and ground transportation! They make it about as seamless of an experience as possible! In the weeks prior to your visit, their concierge team reaches out to help schedule any activities you may want to, a majority of which are included, huzzah!! They also help with your dining reservations and schedule ground transportation to pick up and drop you off from the airport. They even had car seats for both of our kids so we didn't have to lug ours all the way there.Cabin: We stayed in the Aspen cabin which featured two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a living room.It was the perfect and had a great location up one of the hills on property. Front porch overlooked the main area of the property and the back porch looked out into a meadow. Housekeeping came through daily and each morning there was hot coffee waiting on the porch for us when we woke up.Dining: The Horn & Cantle Restaurant is where we had a majority of our meals. They had a great breakfast and lunch spread each morning and then dinner was full service and always delicious. We also did the Ranch BBQ one of the nights and the Street Dinner up where the rodeo was. Both equally delicious. Plenty of variety without having to leave the property.Activities: Too many to list! The highlight was watching my kids have a blast. From feeding the horses, trail rides on the horses, helping groom the horses to the ropes course, archery, guided hike and the day trip to Yellowstone, we were certainly never bored. We never felt overwhelmed though either. Everything was paced nicely and if there was something we didn't want to do we could change things around.Service: Everything you'd want and expect from a place like this! They were prompt, responsive and most importantly, great with the kids. I believe you can tell a lot about a place by how their team treats and interacts with kids and this team goes above and beyond. When you're on a trip, if the kids are happy, usually everyone is! I also loved the 24 hour text service they have. You can text the team day or night for any requests.Location: Absolutely spectacular! I believe they have over 100 acres at the Ranch and all of it was beautiful! We loved just going out and exploring the various trails, creeks, etc.All of this to say, it truly is a special place with a great team and if you have the opportunity to go, you should!

This is a special place. The days started with finding hot steamy coffee at our doorstep when we woke up (a fantastic idea) and kept getting better from there. At the breakfast buffet the friendly staff made sure we had all we needed. Everyone in hospitality and in activities was exceedingly kind and helpful. Monica is an awesome horseback riding guide who took us on some beautiful rides. See the rodeo. Dance at the BBQ.

The view of Emigrant Peak from the lobby makes you slow down and appreciate the beauty of it. The armchairs right next to the large glass are excellent viewing spots. The atmosphere is very cozy, especially at night. The rooms are well-decorated and furnished. I like the spacious bathrooms a lot. Dining options are quite limited, though. There are restaurants in the hotel, but not much outside.

Met friends staying there for dinner. Had a wonderful meal in Fireside. They had live music in the main room but it did not overtake the dining area. We will be back.

My stay at Sage Lodge was an absolute dream come true. The location couldn't have been more perfect - surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of paradise valley, it was a truly magical setting. The staff at Sage Lodge were absolutely impeccable. From the moment we arrived until we left, their warmth and professionalism made our stay exceptional. They went above and beyond to ensure every detail of our stay was perfect, and their attention to our needs was truly remarkable.
