We typically stay at Hilton hotels and had never stayed at a Drury Inn before. We had a great experience. So great that I had to leave a review, which isn't something I typically do. The place was comfortable, the room spotless, and all the staff - from the front desk to the gentleman cleaning the rooms - were incredibly friendly. The staff alone made it a notable experience. This is the Chick-fil-A of hotels - run with excellence and a level of hospitality I don't often see these days.
I have never been to a Drury Inn that provided poor customer service and I hope I never will! It's the customer service and the cleanliness of their hotels that stand out above the rest and keep me coming back. The Knoxville location certainly did not disappoint, if you stay here, you'll witness superb customer service, a filling after hour dinner with complementary drinks for those who partake, a clean comfortable rest and excellent breakfast. Check out is a breeze! I hope they continue to add more locations across the U.S. in the near future.
Immaculate and pet-friendly with wonderful customer service. The dinner and breakfast offered a great variety of foods and our kids loved the pool. They had a pack n play ready to go in our room when we got there. We will definitely stay here again when traveling through Knoxville!
Front desk personnel were great during making reservations. Rooms are very clean and well appointed. All amenities, hot tub, pool, excersize equipment and even laundry were in good working order. Breakfast was one of the best I've had in this class of hotel. Turn down snack and drinks are an amazing bonus I've only found in this hotel franchise. Highly recommended.
This was one of the most clean hotels I've seen in a long time! There is such a welcoming vibe when you walk in, and you can tell rigth away that management cares about this place and their customers. The pool was great, the rooms were comfortable, the free dinner, breakfast... it all made our stay feel so valuable. My family love the popcorn in the lobby too! Highly recommend.
I've never written a review for a hotel before, but this exceeded expectations. Room was clean and comfortable. Extra blanket upon request. Breakfast and dinner included, along with my favorite snack, popcorn. Pool was decently heated as was hot tub, and working the whole time I was there. Pool area kept clean and tidy. Staff was helpful but I honestly didn't need them much. Guest laundry was clean and ready to access/ use. Food was basic but tasted good and there were options to choose from. Very happy with my stay. If I am in the South again I will choose this hotel again.
I spent a night here and it far exceeded my expectations. (and I am a hard core Drury man) All public places and our room were immaculately clean. Staff were enthusiastic about being there, and I never sensed any "this is just a job" attitude. I book Drury because of their emphasis on the client above all else. It really seems to be the ethos of the chain. I get it anytime I'm at a Drury Inn, but this place moves to the top. Kudoes!
Loved our stay at the Drury Inn! Great breakfast and awesome 5:30-7:00pm “Kickback”!!! Where else can you stay and have breakfast & dinner included??!!! When planned our sightseeing to make sure we made it back to the hotel no later than 6pm! 🙂
Always highly recommend Drury! The front desk gentleman (I want to say his name was maybe Adam or Andrew) was super kind and helpful which was nice for our late night arrival. Breakfast was absolutely delicious with lots of options from waffles to breakfast potatoes, scrambled eggs, and more. Bob from housekeeping was super friendly and upbeat as well! We will ALWAYS stay here due to the friendly service, great food, and clean rooms!
My family and I were recently driving back to Ohio after my brother’s graduation in Lawrenceville, Atlanta. On our way, we stopped in Knoxville to take a break, and while we were driving, I realized I urgently needed to use the restroom. We ended up pulling into a hotel parking lot to rest for a bit, and I figured I’d go inside to find a bathroom. Even though we’d never been to this hotel before, I was immediately impressed as soon as I walked in. The lobby was not only beautiful but also spotlessly clean, and I noticed how they lock the doors at certain hours for safety, something I appreciated. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I decided to go in anyway. As I was standing by the door, the gentleman at the front desk greeted me and I asked if I could use the restroom. I could immediately sense his kindness and willingness to help as he pointed down the hall and told me it was on the left. I felt a sense of relief, knowing he was genuinely accommodating. The experience was so positive that I wanted to share it. The restroom was clean, the lobby was pristine, and the customer service was outstanding. If I ever need a place to stay in this area, I would definitely consider booking here.
Every time I have overnighted here, the overall service and amenities have been nothing but spectacular. The staff are all very kind, welcoming, and accommodating. The front desk staff goes out there way to ensure a good nights rest and understands crew schedules. The kitchen/bar staff behind the morning breakfast and evening receptions each day and night consistently provides exceptional service too. It's not easy doing the job they do in todays demanding market, however, they all make a truly exceptional brand in comparison to other franchises.
Great experience at this Drury location in Knoxville. Hotel was spotless with large clean rooms. Free dinner buffet and breakfast was great after being on the road all day.
Tristan was great! Wonderful check in experience - He got us the best room - the suite is perfect. We loved it. You could bounce a quarter off the bed ( not a necessity) but the maid deserves a shout out too. The room was very clean and very nice. Quality service is what matters most and we got that - five stars plus for the attentiveness of the staff.
Such a wonderful hotel. Always clean and comfortable facility and rooms. I have stayed in differnt Drury Inns a few times last year when we went on our cross country (Route66) vacation trip and all of the ones we stayed in were wonderful.
Loved everything about this hotel! Great location. Clean and updated rooms. Super dog friendly, they offered a treat bag each day to my dog. Food and drinks were delicious! And best of all was their customer service. Everyone working there seemed to love their job and offered to always go above and beyond. I haven't experienced such a pleasant hotel experience in a very long time. I highly recommend staying here if you are in the area!
Our experience exceeded our expectations! Tristan is an amazing human and provides exceptional customer service at the bar and at the front desk. The same applies to Tyler, who goes out of his way to provide options to guests. Benjamin is also charming and very personal able and approachable. The manager, Dave, also jumped in and helped whenever needed. We couldn't walk through the hotel without being greeted by someone. The maintenance manager also does an amazing job keeping up with everything and is very pleasant to talk with. Our room was exceptionally clean and met our needs for 5 nights. The complimentary food options for breakfast and in the evening are exceptional and high quality. Hot coffee is offered 24 hours a day and always tastes fresh. Which is nice when you have a 3am flight. Not a single complaint.
I travel for work 90% of the time. I live out of my suitcase in various hotels across the southeast. I stayed here for five days over the first week of July. This hotel was fabulous. The staff was incredible! Friendly and kind…remembered small details. They were fully staffed which is hard to find these days (even with the holiday!) The breakfast and the evening snack (more like a meal) were wonderful. This is the first hotel I’ve stayed in where housekeeping gives daily room service without making a special request. I was so surprised when I returned the first evening to see my room made up! Everything was clean…which is incredibly important to me. I highly recommend this hotel!
This was our family’s first Drury stay. I enjoyed the free breakfast and dinner offerings even though the dining area was generally pretty packed with people. Without the free alcoholic drink vouchers, I probably would have avoided dinner, but the food quality and selection were still pretty decent. A major shout out goes to the breakfast staff because they were very friendly and helpful. There was an issue with our stay that was completely addressed by the front desk manager Adam. The room we had was not the most spacious we’ve every stayed at but very manageable. Overall, I would stay here again and pay few more bucks than nearby hotels for the free meals and good service.
The comfiest bed I've ever slept in! Everything was immaculately clean, the staff were all very friendly. Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and had a pretty good view of the mountains. Our daughter enjoyed the pool which was also clean and well maintained. Breakfast each morning was delicious. We didn't get a chance to try the evening snacks provided, but with everything else being so exceptional, I'm sure it was great! If I had to think of one thing to improve, it would be longer hours for the evening kickback snacks, but that's just personal preference. We will definitely be back if we ever need to stay in Knoxville again!
Absolutely one of the BEST hotels we have stayed in. Check in was super fast, even with a large group checking in. The room was spacious and super clean. The happy hour was more of a dinner, then just little appetizers. Breakfast was fresh with lots of variety. Highly recommend staying here!
Room are dark lighting is terrible the water pressure is nonexistent and the water in the shower is warm not hot at all .. The heat was not working in the room I think they have the heat set for the whole hotel.. It has mold and mildew in the shower it like staying at a Motel 6 with an embassy name with the price that’s truly not worth it .. Rude customer service also
This hotel has the most hospitable staff in the industry! We had our annual team meeting in Knoxville and were all impressed by the positive, kind, helpful attitude of every single Embassy team member we interacted with. From the original meeting planning last fall through the event this week it was a smooth, excellent process. The rooms and facility were as good as the team working there as well.
We spent a most enjoyable night here on our way to visit our Granddaughter for Christmas. The evening snacks & drink were quite adequate. Their complimentary breakfast was outstanding. Comfortable bed, Great atmosphere! The EV charging worked very well on our new 2026 SUV hybrid.
One of the nicest hotels in this range that I have stayed at in quite sometime. Everything was well maintained and nice. The bar, restaurant and lobby were all very nice. The breakfast was very good with made to order eggs and omelets. The rooms were spacious and nice. I would 100% stay here again when in the area.
Beautiful hotel and great service. The omeletttes were well made, and the breakfast overall was satisfactory. Staff in the kitchen were handling business, working constantly. They seemed to enjoy their jobs there which is so refreshing to see. The gym was nice, offered water bottles, and equipment top grade. The sauna looked inviting and plan to take advantage of that next time. The firepits outside were a nice addition, especially this time of the year. Even the patio furniture was super comfortable! Overall, it was a positive experience for my husband and I. The hotel room had the TV say a welcome message on the screen. It said "Welcome Roberta", appreciate it, even though my husband is "Roberto". We had a good laugh about that.
Room was exceptionally clean and smelled wonderful! The room was so welcoming. By far one of the nicest rooms we’ve had the pleasure of staying in with Embassy. The little details like they welcome announcement and note were noticed and appreciated. Will definitely be back!
We enjoy the Embassy locations as they have interesting layouts in each hotel lobby. This location had a beautiful moss wall covered in living greenery, accentuated by two water features and a pooling fountain at the base. The fixtures and decor were very tidy. Our room was extremely cozy, there were no huge issues just small things like a missing towel hook and noticeable curling in the corners on the wallpapered bathroom, obviously moisture hangs around and it's expected but worth noting. I noticed across many Hilton locations the grout of the bathroom tile is never it's true color, and that's really the only thing that bothered me. I feel like it's not adequately deep cleaned on any schedule and the grout along the base of the wall is white, so I wonder if the grout in the floor is truly dirty. I feel like it's something many hotels should keep on a schedule to maintain, especially at the prices charged. The staff were very helpful as well as informative, and our room was serviced nicely. We did not have any issues during our stay and plan to continue using Hilton locations.
This was a great stay! The staff were very good and helpful and we felt welcomed at all times. Rooms were great, clean, fresh, and comfortable. The bar was fully stocked. The on-site restaurant was pretty good, the lobby was really nice looking and a great open space to hang out in. This place has one of the best included breakfasts I've ever had. We'll be back for sure.
Our stay at the Embassy Suites in Knoxville was brief—just a quick overnight stop on our way home from vacation—but it left a big impression. We checked in online and never interacted with staff, so we can’t speak to service, but everything else about the hotel was top-notch.
From the moment we walked into the lobby, it was clear that someone with serious design sensibility had a hand in the look and feel of this place. The decor throughout the hotel is elevated, modern, and stylish—definitely a step above what you might expect at this price point. Embassy Suites has truly upped their game.
Our room was clean, comfortable, and just as well-designed as the public spaces. It made for a perfect stopover: easy on, easy off the interstate, and just what we needed after a long day of travel.
There’s also a charming little UT-themed gift shop in the lobby, and we discovered a soap brand called “Zero” that smelled amazing—definitely something we’ll try to track down.
All in all, one of the nicest-looking hotels we’ve stayed in recently. Highly recommend for anyone wanting style and comfort without a high-end price tag.
Hotel was nice, but Room 601 seems to have haunted walls. Early in the AM constant knocking right behind the bed wall...the other side was the rooms bathroom. Sounded like a actuator or solenoid. They shouldn't rent that room out.
We have stayed here several times and it is a wonderful hotel. The rooms and facilities are always immaculate and the staff super attentive. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Let me start by saying that I would give 10 stars if it was available. We took a family trip to Tennessee for the first time. From the moment we walked in and we were greeted by Emma at the front desk, my family and I knew that we were going to have a pleasant experience. Emma went above and beyond to ensure that everything went smoothly for us. We had a lot of questions about the area (what to do, where to go Etc.) And Emma dealt with us like a true professional would. At the breakfast buffet, we had the pleasure of meeting Mustafa, a true gentleman and ge made us feel like family. Mustafa truly cares about what people want and he does it with such grace and care. The entire staff is awesome. We, God willing, will be planning a trip to Tennessee again and this is our place.
The staff is excellent and the rooms are clean. We had dinner at the flying spoons restaurant and the food was excellent. DJ provided exceptional service even though it was a busy day.
I stayed at this hotel for a while one issue after another. There was mold on ceiling in shower.Ask house keeping to wipe my refrigerator out and Jennifer head of house keeping came to my door and said they don't do that. I guess that's why it was so dirty when we got there. Breakfast was ok only good thing was egg and waffle station. Pool is ice cold not heated there hot tub is Luke warm and no bubbles stays broken. Elevators are always broken seen several people stuck. Friday nights they have dancing and there is no where to park so you have to wait until it's over to park and go to your room the lady general manager is rude and will not resolve any issues. Worst management I have ever seen in a hotel. Will never come back to this hotel. Knoxville has much nicer ones to stay at for less money.
This is my absolute favorite hotel. The Managers reception takes place every day from 5:30-7pm. Breakfast with made to order eggs or an omelette of your choice. The lobby/restaurant/bar area is very unique and inviting. Most of all this hotel has the very best staff working for them. Recognition to the hardest working bar tender that I know Grey, the restaurant and bar hand Jennifer is very hard working and personable, Dee the breakfast chef is great and the breakfast welcomer Mort is the friendliest person that I have ever met.
Honestly the best part of our stay is Mr Mort the breakfast attendant. This is our stay here and we stay Embassy Suites often and how he treats, cares and is kind to us stands out! He pays attention to the guests and goes out of his way to meet needs and do whatever he can to make breakfast go smoothly. My husband and I travel with our three children so when a person does everything he can to accommodate us, it matters. He is very valuable to your business! Also D the omelette chef was fantastic too! He is skilled and very efficient. Also kind and thoughtful too.
We loved our stay at this location. The staff was friendly and made us feel welcome as soon as we walked in. The room was spacious, welcoming, and very clean. The complimentary breakfast was fantastic! Great selection of food and the cook was an incredibly friendly person. I would highly recommend staying here if you are passing through or staying for multiple days.
Rented for sweet 16 party/ indoor pool. The pool needs attention it was so cloudy you couldn't see your feet. It was extremely cold we rented a room here just for a heated pool. Hot tub was like warm. The room was great the breakfast was awesome. Aside from that the pool n hot tub sucked. The chemicals in hot tub turned one of the girls hair green.
