I am looking forward to experiencing each of the themed rooms and eventually, all of the other properties.
The front desk staff hospitality was somewhat inconsistent, sometimes we were greeted friendly and politely, and other times we were not acknowledged when coming and going. Also, room service staff did not clean and tidy the rooms daily.
Lastly, hotel staff entered my room without notice and without consent. They quickly realized they had made a mistake entering, noticed I was undressed, and promptly left the room. I called the front desk to address the issue and it was made out to be no big deal. This was a violation of privacy, and they claimed that they were there to "fix the TVs", when our TV was already working. There was no courtesy call to let me know they were coming and did not knock on my door before entering. I feel it was unacceptable that they entered the room without consent and violated my privacy. I addressed this with the hotel manager and they offered a 20% off coupon and late checkout as an apology. My right to privacy is worth more than 20% off and late checkout for a place I wouldn't feel comfortable staying in again.
Overall, this hotel is fair, far from 4 stars. Likely would look around the area before booking here, the stay was disappointing to say the least. All they have going for them is that the rooms are clean upon arrival.
2) Our first room had a leaking air conditioner so the carpet was wet and grew mold. Upon us wanting to leave the hotel altogether, they insisted they could provide better service.
3) We found bed bugs in our bed and were bitten by these bugs, we have photos evidence of everything.
Horrible staff, we told them about the bugs and they said they couldn’t do anything. The pictures on the website are a lie, it is a very run down and dirty hotel with minimal staff.
I never imagined that our family trip could turn into such a distressing and frustrating ordeal. After traveling a long distance with our little ones, we arrived at the hotel only to be turned away at the door. Even though we had a confirmed reservation and had already paid in full, they refused to let us check in, and they offered no real explanation. It was shocking to see how dismissive they were, even after my husband tried to show them our confirmation and booking details.
Feeling helpless and with two exhausted kids, we were left with no choice but to accept their offer to stay at a different hotel—the Brooklyn Hotel. Unfortunately, this turned out to be an even worse experience. They put us in a basement room that was unclean, with only one queen bed, despite our booking for two beds. When we requested a crib for our baby, they simply said they didn’t have one available and didn’t seem concerned at all about our situation.
This entire experience left me feeling deeply disappointed and upset. As a mother, I felt our needs and comfort were completely disregarded. No family should have to go through this, especially not after securing a reservation. For the safety and well-being of your loved ones, I urge you to avoid this hotel at all costs.
Everything about this experience was absolutely horrible. Despite having a confirmed reservation, my family and I were denied a stay at the hotel in the middle of the night, leaving us stranded with my little kids and wife. The staff refused to provide a reasonable explanation for this, even after I showed them the confirmation number and booking details.
I had already paid the full price in advance, but the hotel still refused to accommodate us and instead directed us to an even worse hotel (The Brooklyn Hotel), which was in terrible condition. They assigned us a basement room that was dirty, had only one queen bed despite my request for two, and lacked basic amenities. My one-year-old baby was with us, and they didn’t provide a crib or show any care for our needs.
From start to finish, this was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a hotel. The staff was unhelpful and dismissive, showing no concern for our situation. It was a nightmarish experience, and I strongly urge everyone to stay far away from this hotel. For the safety and well-being of yourself and your family, do not book here under any circumstances.
