Enjoyed our stay over Thanksgiving. Location was perfect. Loved that there was a grocery store a block away and a donut/coffee shop across the street. The best part of our stay: the fantastic complimentary breakfast. The fresh bagels and high quality smoked salmon was a huge surprise . Just make sure you go early. The rooms were ok however it was clean. Would stay here again.

I booked this hotel because it looked great online and was close to my event in Stamford. The room itself was spacious and clean, so no complaints there. However, almost everything else about the stay was unsettling, confusing, and nothing like what was shown in the photos.

The hotel is enormous but feels deserted. The lobby is large, quiet, and dimly lit — it has an eerie, almost abandoned feeling. There were very few staff members around, and several elevators were out of order. When I checked in, they mentioned a $10 parking fee that I hadn’t been told about beforehand. They did end up waiving the fee, which was the least they could do given what I experienced.

The parking situation was especially uncomfortable. As a woman traveling alone, I did not feel safe. The garage was dark, under construction, and nearly empty. One of the entrances was closed off, and there were no clear signs showing how to get to the lobby. I parked in the first open spot near the elevators and waited several minutes for one to arrive. When it finally did, I pressed the “Lobby” button — but the elevator didn’t indicate what level it was on or even light up properly. As it moved, there were no floor numbers displayed, so I had no idea where I was. I ended up getting off on a random floor that turned out to be another level of the garage, completely empty. I got back in, pressed another button, and somehow ended up on the lobby level, but it was very confusing since the elevator gave no indication of where I actually was.

Once in the lobby, there were no signs directing guests to the elevators for the rooms. I walked around trying to find them and discovered multiple elevators that were broken or blocked off. I already have a fear of elevators, so seeing so many out of service in such a dimly lit, empty space only made the experience more nerve-wracking.

By the time I reached my floor, I was honestly shaken. The hallways were dark and quiet, and the whole atmosphere felt off. The hotel supposedly has a gym, which is another reason and I booked because I like to work out in the morning but I didn’t feel comfortable enough to go exploring on my own.

Overall, the room itself was fine, but the rest of the property felt neglected and unsettling. This hotel might have been beautiful once, but now it feels poorly maintained and even a little creepy. I wanted to leave at 4 a.m. the next morning but was too afraid to go back into that parking garage alone in the dark. I would not stay here again, and I hope the management takes these issues seriously — especially for the safety and comfort of a solo traveler.

The front desk staff was very nice and courteous. The breakfast was mediocre. The rooms were okay, but seeing that it had a kitchen with no dishes was a little weird. Out of our four day stay the cleaning crew only came one day while we were out and they gave us more tissue and mopped the kitchen floor. They didn’t replace the towels that they took, change the bedding or anything else. (all of our belongings were in our bags, nothing was left out) The downstairs area is beautiful, they put more into the downstairs look instead of the rooms.

We had a wonderful stay at The Armon in Stamford, Connecticut! Parking was super convenient and only $10, which is a great deal for the area. The staff, especially the cleaning team in the morning, were very friendly and professional. Our room was spotless, the furniture looked new, and the bathroom had clearly been recently renovated. We skipped breakfast since we got a late start, but everything else was perfect — quiet, comfortable, and a great night’s sleep. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a clean, modern, and affordable stay in Stamford!

The stay at Armon was overall pleasant to me. Except the first receptionist who checked us in. The black young man has no smile and no greeting and I tried to find out the opening hour of the indoor pool by calling the front desk ( it was 9 pm) no one picked up the phone, I went downstairs I don't see him either( maybe was on bathroom break)

But the lady Natile was so nice and picked up the phone immediately in next day morning, and she accidentally hung up too soon she even called back. And walk us through the indoor pool cuz it was locked. The pool is clean and we enjoy a little time to do sauna. With a fully equipped bathroom and shower area. I have no complaints.

And the young guy was so nice too when we headed back to grab our luggage.

The housekeeping were nice too and they did a great job keeping the room very neat and clean. I eventually have my best sleep during this week.

The hotel is closed to the mall, restaurant and downtown, very accessible in general.

We're recently stayed for a cheer competition for my daughter. We unfortunately booked 2 separate reservations, one for Friday & Saturday.

No rooms were available upon checkout Saturday morning to move our stuff into or get our daughters comp ready.

Haley was so kind & accommodating. She let use the parlor/ employee area with a stunning bathroom to let the girls get ready while we waited for Saturday rooms to be ready.

Absolutely phenomenal customer service! Thank you, Haley;

I had a great stay. It was so cold we didn’t use the shuttle but nice to have available. The room was clean, I liked the shower. Although it’s advertised as rooms having jacuzzi tubs and ours did not. The pool was nice and was very busy. I like the coffee bar in the morning that’s all I need but the breakfast being available is nice to have and not a continual breakfast option only.I also like the large cooler of free water bottles in the lobby. I took three one for the room and one for the day and was thinking maybe I should only take one when the desk clerk said “take as many as you want “ great. Very close to Foxwoods. 8 minutes. Overall had a great stay.

First time at this hotel and we decided last minute to stay overnight new years eve and hit Foxwoods. This hotel does a free shuttle on the hour to the casino. We booked a king presidential suite and it was nice. Very High ceilings with tapestry draped from ceiling to bed headboard, making it look very Victorian like. Room had a fireplace near the bed with a TV mounted above. You can easily lounge in bed and sign into your Netflix and just relax. Bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was huge with a stand up walk in shower and a seperate whirlpool jetted tub with another TV mounted to relax in a whirlpool and watch some shows! 2 seperate vanities which is very nice so I could get my hair done and hubby could do.his thing! They have a hair dryer mounted to wall and shampoo/conditioner and bodywash attached in shower. Have lotion and hand soap attached to walls near vanities. So you really do not need to worry about packing these things. Safe in room as well. Room had a couch with coffee table as well. Coffee pot in room with coffee as well as waters in fridge. So room was great!! They have a small bistro style every with a small bar. We did have breakfast in the morning with a 10% coupon included(you have the option of adding on breakfast free to room cost) Menu is very small but was very good. It snowed and shuttle was nice to be picked up after having a few cocktails at the casino. Would definitely stay again. We didn't go in the pool which was small but nice. Definitely give this place a try! Thank you for a great stay 😊

The highlight of our stay was Jim the shuttle driver that took us to Foxwoods. He was so kind and considerate and we had a great time talking with him! The room was clean and comfortable except for the bed which was a bit unsupportive. Previous reviews mention that the walls are a bit thin and while that is the case we were probably lucky and it was relatively quiet. But we did bring a noise machine which helped. Overall we would come back!

We had an amazing stay at Bellissimo Grande Hotel....now part of the Wyndham chain. Our room (the presidential suite) was so comfortable. It had been newly renovated and was very clean. The bed was comfortable. We loved the jetted tub and huge shower. The restaurant staff was very friendly and attentive and the food was great. Check in and out was easy. The cost was reasonable. We will definitely be back here.

I thought the hotel itself was beautiful, considering I’ve only been to your basic hotel that all look the same and very modern. I booked a Venetian queen with in room whirlpool. I must say the room itself was nice, and I enjoyed the more homey master bedroom type of feel it had. Our in room climate control worked great. The bed was insanely comfy, and clean- But, we had to get the bed that was horrifically noisy. To sit on it or even move made the loudest squeaking sounds ever. Which kept waking me up all night. The jacuzzi tub could’ve been cleaner- I Wiped down the whole tub with wipes beforehand just to be safe, and all in the corners against the wall was dirty and I wiped up a lot of black specs of I'm not sure what. The room came with a mini fridge and a coffee maker. There’s ice makers in the hotel also and you get the standard issue hotel ice bucket with lid. The lobby does sell a select amount of snacks and beverages all hours- I’m not sure how much they are as my boyfriend and I opted to go to the closest 24 hour gas station for snacks considering parking was super convenient. I also hardly ever enjoy let alone use the toiletries hotels provide, but I must say the line they use is actually really good. I even kept my last soap bar because I loved how it smelled and cleaned.
Nice set up, clean with a grand lobby. They offered a made to order breakfast option but i didn’t try it. First bed was a hard memory foam mattress that sucked the first night but they were nice enough to switch us out. Most mattresses were swapped out, just unfortunate then. Nice staff and nice jacuzzi room but was a lil concerned about the floor trim/threshold. Protruding screws could tear a bare foot open.

This hotel has a great atmosphere. Polite workers. Resturant, bar and spa you pay for. Pool is free. You can pay for basic rooms or you can pay for presidential suites that have Jacuzzi's within the room or bathroom. Loved the stay. Pretty expensive if you want the jacuzzi but it was very nice and romantic if you want to get away with a loved one.

Bed was comfy and the shower had great pressure and plenty of hot water - on the downside, front desk staff need some training on people skills - the website is not up to date on information. The breakfast menu mentions one free coffee per person per day (from the "coffee shop" not the stuff they provide in the lobby until 11am. - front desk first said they knew nothing about it, then changed up and said that stopped before covid. They did offer to make the coffee but wasn't happy about it.
Please be aware, that the "free coffee" stops at 11 - and you can't charge breakfast to your room - this info not shared at check in

Close to aquarium and foxwoods. My husband and I had a great time. We swam in the pool enjoyed our room and the front desk attendees were wonderful. Very happy to help and didn't count the towels they gave you to use.
