Our stay was awful. Actually we checked in and saw how poor the hotel was that we ended up leaving and going to a different hotel. Website stats there was a pool… but of course it was closed and never posted onto the website. I never received my $50 deposit back the next day like the front desk had stated. Save your money people, I would not recommend this hotel!!!!!!!!

Not bad for the price. I stayed in room 112, it was very clean and everything worked as it should. It’s an older building so it’s not as nice as some other hotels but as long as they keep it clean I can’t complain. The breakfast and coffee weren’t great but at least it was free.

BEWARE
Do NOT give this motel your business.
There are many better hotel options nearby with kinder, honest, and more helpful staff—not to mention cleaner and better-maintained facilities. This hotel used to be great, but clearly not under the current ownership or management.
We booked this location specifically for the pool so our kids could enjoy it on Thanksgiving Day. The website stated the hot tub was out of service, which is listed as a completely separate amenity from the pool (despite what the manager tried to claim). Upon arrival, we discovered the pool was also closed.
When I approached the front desk manager, he spoke to me in a mocking tone from the moment our conversation began. I asked for a refund, or at minimum, for the cancellation fee to be waived. He told me I needed to contact Wyndham first, and that once they reached out to him, he would approve the refund. That was a complete lie.
I followed his instructions, and when Wyndham contacted him, he refused the refund and insisted we would still be charged. Wyndham then informed us that only the facility manager has the authority to cancel the reservation and issue a refund—contradicting everything he had told us. When my husband went in to speak with him after confirming this, the manager told another lie, claiming he had “just received the email” and that it would be resolved in 48–72 hours. We were still charged, and no resolution was provided.
Looking back, after reading more reviews, we’re grateful we didn’t end up staying. The pool looked stagnant and neglected, and the front desk area smelled strongly of mildew and cigarettes. The entire property shows a lack of care and competent management.
10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND.

My stay at the property was wonderful. Darshil! The front desk associate deserves special appreciation he was extremely calm, polite, and professional. The way he communicates makes you feel well taken care of, and he manages everything smoothly. Whenever I needed anything for my room, he helped immediately with kindness and genuine courtesy.

Hotels need more staff like him. The overall stay was excellent, and the breakfast was really good as well. Highly recommended!

Would give 0 stars if possible. There seemed to be minimal upkeep to the property - multiple sheds falling apart, trash everywhere. Booked here because it was one of the few in the area that had an indoor pool. Too bad it's not able to be used and surrounded by caution tape. Still checked in because many other places were totally booked. (I see why now) Room was disgusting. Lamps didn't work, layer of dust across the mini fridge (which also had scorch marks on top) and microwave, food on the floor, flies in the bathroom and feces in the toilet. My daughter refused to touch anything. Attempted to ask for our money back and was told only booking.com could do that. Booking.com is telling me to reach out to the facility who already told me they can't/won't do anything. Now trying to dispute with the bank. Do not waste your money.

We often meet for breakfast at the Hilton Garden Inn as they have a nice breakfast buffet on Saturday and we enjoy the associates in the restaurant. It is very convenient just off the 250 by-pass by the OARDC and the Ohio State Agricultural School. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. Recently has gone through some remodeling so its very bright and clean. We have never stayed there overnight but have had guest stay there who were pleased with the accommodations.

To start my review, we started our “stay” by a simple phone call the morning of check in. My phone call to them was to request a crib or pack and play to my room for my 2 year old son. (Every other Hilton garden inn and Hampton inn I have stayed in has them available). The front desk gentlemen at the time suggested I bring my own, or go buy one….. not a great first impression as this has been an expectation from Hilton from ALL our previous stays with Hilton. We went and purchased one no biggie as we were on the road the day prior and didn’t bring ours from home.

Room was clean as expected but Saturday night we witnessed something we’ve never seen before….. the front desk clerk screaming and yelling at a gentleman due to her not wanting to accommodate the guest in the lobby who wanted to to have the fire place on due to the cool temp in the lobby. She stated it was a maintenance persons job to turn on the fire place but she activated the exterior fireplace and wanted to send everyone outside. While this was all happening and she was yelling at the guy for trying to help, she called the local police department and accused the gentlemen of calling her names. During the disagreement, she threatened to throw all the people in the lobby out of the hotel…… almost all had nothing to do with the situation at hand.

The police arrived and experienced her hostility and were gone within 10-20 minutes as they realized she was overreacting.

These we’re the large instances of about 6 other minor push backs from this hotel.

Please take this review into conversation if you’re looking for a place that’s welcoming and accommodating to the guest.

Worst hotel experience we’ve had and we travel a lot. We paid for breakfast, but it doesn’t include most of the menu. Additionally, wanted to rent/use the meeting room, we were just told no with no explanation. Lastly, tried to turn on a gas fireplace in the lobby which then led to a staff member scream and escalate the situation on her side by calling the cops. Customer service was atrocious and disrespectful. We would not recommend staying here.

Situated on the edge of town next to the corn fields in the heart of Amish country, this hotel was a delight to visit. The rooms were spacious and clean, the property was fairly new and well maintained, the staff was friendly and helpful. But the best feature was the restaurant, which is one of the best-kept secrets in town. They have chef who offers a limited menu, but with something for everyone and the food is outstanding. It is not crowded or noisy, and the staff and chef fall all over you to make sure you are pleased. We ate there twice during a week-long stay and were delighted each time. What I liked best was the quiet.

Came down for a weekend trip in the area. The pool was small but the perfect temperature. The staff was very friendly. Only issue was the bathroom was a little dirty and the shower curtain kept coming down. Beds were comfy, I will be back.
