Price was twice what was expected and website said breakfast and was told breakfast was at 6, but when we went down to breakfast we were told there was no breakfast. Then 6 others waiting for breakfast in the lobby left also.
I visited Quincy with my Family for my Daughter’s official recruitment visit to Quincy University this past weekend. I called on my way over and spoke with Mr. Bob and he was very, very helpful. I explained him that we were stuck on the road and we weren’t going to make it. He adjusted my reservation and it made me feel like he really cared. Upon arrival Ms. Sarah was not different, she was very nice and attentive and answered all of my questions. Later that evening we had dinner at Tony’s and the food was delicious. Mr. Alex help us and gave us some more information about the town. I highly recommend this place to anyone. My wife and I will continue to stay here every time we come watch my Daughter’s volleyball games.
Check in time was a bit hectic due to several guests doing so at the same time. Alright they don't have a free breakfast, we did get vouchers towards the cost of breakfast at the on-site restaurant. We weren't able to use the vouchers because of our schedule. The hotel is very near Walmart. The pillows were our biggest issue. Very uncomfortable for all 5 of us who were in our party.
I highly recommend Holiday Inn in Quincy Illinois. I stayed a week with my coworker while traveling. The customer service was impeccable, and so absolutely kind. Ask for Bob or Tom, they will help you and go beyond and above to do so. Thank you both for your kindness and helping out with our no food stipend issue with our traveling job.
We stopped here to avoid a severe thunderstorm on our road trip. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was what we needed. There's a restaurant and bar in the hotel; we didn't have time to try it, but it looked good.
Way over priced. Very dirty. Noise all night long. Don't be fooled by the pool, so unclean. There was one night clerk and he was amazing. The breakfast and coffee was awful. Please go somewhere else. So disappointed ☹️
Service and staff are absolutely amazing, been staying here for over a month now while we're working out of town and there isn't anything that I could complain about. Beds are comfortable, rooms are Nice, very clean and spacious. All of the staff members are awesome friendly and very helpful, especially one in particular, Nicole has been amazing, always smiling and friendly and very helpful and going out of her way with anything we've needed during our stay! Would definitely recommend this hotel!
The visit was pretty good. The room was large and the bed was comfortable. It included a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The TV was adequate. The bathroom had dirt on the floor behind the door but was otherwise clean.
Stayed here for 3 nights for business while in Quincy. Location was great. Just off Broadway, but sat back away from the busy roadway and the sounds that come with it. So it was quiet and somewhat secluded (which I like). Check in was a breeze and the desk clerk was friendly and efficient. My room and the hotel as a whole was very clean and comfortable. The shower in my room had good water pressure (which is a must) and the towels were thick and comfy. The bed was clean and comfy, but the pillows were a little on the soft side to my liking, but nothing unbearable. The air conditioning in my room worked quietly and kept the room cool. Everything from the microwave to the refrigerator worked perfectly. Overall, I would recommend. 👍
We've stayed at 2 other Stoney Creeks before and thought we'd stay at this one - we always book a suite because it has a fireplace. Unfortunately, we discovered later in the evening that it wasn't working. The evening staff (especially Nicole) went above and beyond attempting to get it to work. When it just wouldn't work, management was kind enough to compensate us fairly without hesitation.
The staff was always helpful and very approachable. They genuinely wanted to ensure we had a welcoming and pleasant stay. They exemplified 5-star service!
We enjoyed that the hot tub was hot and the room was clean. Breakfast was rather ok in quality, but it had a great selection (I really enjoyed the sausage and biscuits in which one of the staff who helped with the fireplace said she wanted to make sure they were extra good). I wish the bed was more comfortable, but overall, our 2-night stay was wonderful and easy. Even though we didn't have the fireplace, we loved the bigger space of the suite. We will stay here again!
