When we first got there our apartment room was not good at all. Flies and fruit flies in the kitchen. Food particles on the counter, the dishstrainer was never cleaned. Mouse droppings in the cupboard, stains everywhere, hard crusty packaged condiments and a fowl smell through the whole room. And a contact lens on the shower floor. We asked to possibly be accommodated, considering the room was over 200 dollars a night. The young lady at the desk offered to help clean it, or change rooms, but there was no possibility of a refund. We changed rooms in which wasn't much better. Smelly yet a lil cleaner, except the dirty tissues and sock under the dresser and wrappers under the bed. Our toilet wasn't even bolted to the floor, only to rock while sitting on it. Best thing was them taking off 40 dollars, thanks! I won't stay there again and wouldn't recommend if you're looking for comfortable and clean...oh and what's the random board on the wall as decor?
The price was high for the quality, the room I stayed in had a profoundly strong smell of chemicals that made it hard to stay in the room and didn’t cover the base smell. Additionally the cupboards were not clean, and the room had other smells that made it hard to feel comfortable.
This was an awful experience in every way. There were loud drunk people all over the motel. They were smoking and drinking all night, yelling, and arguing, waking us up in the morning with kids running up and down the outside hallways next to our rooms. The room was dirty, gross, very small. They were blinds on the door that didn’t even cover up the whole window so people walking by could see into the room.
We had never been to this town, but it was basically a party town with people drinking and smoking everywhere and revving their motorcycles and just overall being obnoxious.
I love the East Coast, I love beach towns, but this was just truly an unfortunate place to visit The motel was cheap in every way. Not worth what we paid.
Ok, woman to woman this is not a safe place to stay. The first picture is the door, first of all those are the blinds that give you privacy from people walking by. It is unacceptable and not really private. Not just that they were broken, we had to woman engineer privacy. Additionally the door was not secure, someone could have incredibly easily gotten into our room, the lock was a joke. All of that is unacceptable for safety.
The a/c unit was a bio hazard. We didn't even turn it on, I have asthma and I'm not playing with the amount of mold in this thing. How dare they allow this. Luckily I brought a fan and a noise machine because I must have white noise.
Having said that, the location was really fun. Loud but fun, we happened to see a fire works show that was far away, yelled off the balcony at kids not wearing helmets, plus the porch thing is a blast, and we chatted with fellow renters.
I just stayed here this this past weekend. Before going i was extremely skeptical due to all the reviews but upon arrival and stay, it wasn't nearly as bad as others made it look. The fridge and side of the toilet could've been a little better cleaned but not a dealbreaker, otherwise it was overall clean, nothing like others described in these reviews. No moldy or mildew smells, no "bed bugs", clean sheets and mattress covers. The mattress itself wasn't super comfortable but it was doable and it smelled clean upon walking in. On top of everything else, the inn itself was quiet at night. I would Def. Stay here again and plan to in the future, i would also recommend it to others. Great location, 5 min walking distance to the boardwalk and night life. Also, the lady at the front desk was friendly. Every place is going to have their flaws but its pretty well maintained for the most part!
Dec 4 2025 booked and paid for a room. There was no heat in the room. Went to the front desk 3 times, and it wasn't manned. Called and left 2 messages no response! Temperature was 15 degrees that night.
On check out, guy at desk call the owner ( he had a smug attitude with no apologies).
Called later and was told the heat is controlled by the air conditioning unit.
There was a wall thermostat, and no notice at all from booking personal or signage regarding heat control.
Also the bath sink would not drain, the room was in need of a deep renovation and cleaning.
Perfect place to stay if you are looking for a clean, economical, quiet, friendly Inn. The staff go above and beyond. And the heated indoor pool is delightful.
This is an old motel & the rooms are dated. BUT its clean & comfortable. The pool is great! Location was perfect! It's literally a 2 minute walk to the south end Hampton beach. This was our 2nd stay & we will definitely stay here again.
We were treated amazingly by the staff the entire week I stayed. They provide forks and spoons, plates napkins for food etc. They've got a hot tub with a pool, what more could you need from a nice little place? Give them more business, then it'll get even nicer. Comfiest beds this side of the country.
