Visited Bleckley Inn on a business trip and I only have great things to say! From the lovely ladies at the front desk, to the morning breakfast buffet, to the fresh cookies and milk they leave out for guests each night all were great things added to the charm of this inn! One of the BEST perks is the inn is located in walking distance of several restaurants. There is free parking onsite as well as a parking garage. The inn isn’t big so it’s perfect for intimacy for couples. The rooms were perfect and those sheets!! They will definitely have you falling straight to sleep. If I ever find myself back in Anderson, I’ll definitely be staying here!
My husband and I got married at The Bleckley Inn, and it was absolutely perfect. The venue itself is beautiful, and the price point was better than anywhere else we found in the Anderson/Greenville area. One of the best parts was having the entire venue from Friday morning to Sunday afternoon. It gave us the whole weekend to celebrate, relax, and enjoy our time without feeling rushed.
All of our friends and family stayed at the inn, which made the weekend so much more fun—no one had to worry about driving anywhere. For guests who didn’t stay at The Bleckley, the new Home2 Suites right across the street was super convenient.
Shelby at The Bleckley was amazing to work with. She always responded quickly to my questions, was so accommodating, and truly made the planning process stress-free. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and are so grateful we chose The Bleckley Inn for our wedding.
Highly recommend this venue to any couple looking for a beautiful, convenient, and memorable place to get married.
I personally thought this was a great place to stay. We stayed at the plaza, which is above J peters restaurant no smells are noise at all. Our room was large and a very large bathroom wonderful sheets. Everything was great. The breakfast was disappointing however, the only reason being is the food was cold. The eggs were cold and the hashbrowns were cold. Very tasty but COLD. The bacon was good and the grits were good. No one asked us how the food was so we didn’t tell them. I normally do, but my husband doesn’t like itEverything was a little skimpy, but I understand as there were not many people staying there at the time
We had our daughter’s wedding ceremony in the courtyard at the Inn and her reception at the station. It was an absolute dream! The guests loved being able to walk from place to place. No need for cars! The staff was AMAZING!! Everything was perfect and wonderful! Andrew and Shelby are such a treasure! This hotel is such an asset to our town! Thank you Bleckley!
Stayed here for our wedding anniversary, and it was absolutely perfect! We stayed in a Plaza Room, which was spacious and very luxurious. These rooms are not in the main location, but across the street and around the corner. They gave us great directions, and we absolutely loved the location. It was right next to Sullivan's, which was where we had dinner (also a great choice!). We look forward to staying at the Bleckley Inn again, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel!
The Bleckley is the Premier place to stay while in Anderson. Beautiful Inn in the heart of downtown. You can walk to shops, restaurants and a great coffee shop nearby too! The rooms are beautiful and spacious. Shelby is an excellent host. We visit Anderson at least once a year and will not stay anywhere else.
My wife and I got married here in 2015. We visit every year for our anniversary. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and remembers us. This is a beautiful little inn that I would recommend to anyone looking for a place to get away or for a venue to get married.
5 stars because the rooms are exceptional. We stayed in a Plaza room and it was beautiful. No microwaves in the rooms BUT there is one in the common room in front of 104. Wish we had known that!! Plaza location is kind of odd but I did like the security to access the building. It felt very safe. I wish getting the Continental breakfast didn't mean going to the main building. Customer service was exceptional.
The bleckley Inn was fantastic to work with for my daughters wedding. Lots of out of town guests and out of state family and the Bleckley was a pleasure to work with from start to finish! Shelby and her staff took care of my family, friends, and all the details!
We chose The Bleckley Inn for our wedding weekend and couldn't have been happier with our decision! The Inn was the perfect location to host friends and family for a weekend full of celebrating. The Carriage house was a great size to accommodate our guests and Shelby was incredible to work with. She was very responsive, knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire process. You can't go wrong with choosing the Bleckley Inn!
Stayed at The Bleckley Inn for 4 nights over the new year. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable and so very cozy. The staff was friendly and accommodating and the convenience of free breakfast was exactly what we needed for lazy mornings, loved that candied bacon. We will definitely be back when in the area.
We stayed here the night that we dropped our daughter off for her freshman year at Clemson. We were so exhausted from the past few days and the drive. Jessie, who was the front desk leader at the time, was so helpful and so kind because we were so tired we could barely correctly speak. They have a fabulous breakfast which I did not take pictures of because I was so tired. My spouse had to go down and get me something. But what I tasted was fabulous and they have a hash brown special. that is amazing! The grits are so creamy that they are almost like a casserole. But back to the evening. They serve milk and cookies at 8 PM. Who does that? It was fabulous! The rooms were amazing! Housekeeping was impeccable. And that was through the whole Inn not just the rooms. They had all of the special things in the room, including chocolates on the pillows. Everything was set up so beautifully, and they actually had a bathtub which was lovely! So many hotels don’t have them anymore. I will absolutely stay at this hotel again. You cannot beat this place for the price either. They are very reasonable. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a special place to stay or just some place to stay passing through. The whole building is just beautiful inside. Don’t let the pictures of the outside for you! This is a fabulous Inn!
Good place for a hotel located on I85. Fuddruckers next door was perfect for our hunger needs. 4 stars on rooms only because pillows are mostly air. Otherwise, very good stay. Restaurant inside is very well kept, too.
On the way down from New York to Orlando for a few concerts. I chose to stay here and I’m very glad I did. From check-in to check out everybody it was very nice and the room was even nicer. Thanks so much guys!
Fantastic hotel in a wonderful location! Service is top notch, ample parking, and the food in the restaurant is great (especially for breakfast). Would highly recommend if you are in the Anderson/Clemson area.
P.S. Special shout out to Nikki. She is an absolute joy and does an amazing job!
We had an amazing experience. Nikki made our stay even better. Nikki was very courteous and her warm attitude made us feel so welcomed. Our stay was great!
Great location and really nice hotel! Room and facility was very clean and kept! Nice and quiet atmosphere. Staff was extremely nice and friendly at the desk. Stayed one nice but it was great! Large eating area for breakfast. They have a really nice size pool and a large fitness room. Multiple outdoor locations and a large conference room. Many charging stations for Tesla and other EV’s as well in back.
Lee, the front desk rep was very nice and accommodating. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The WiFi and cable service was top tier. I would recommend this hotel and I would definitely stay again😊
We were so thankful to arrive at this location after rush hour in Atlanta traffic. Lee made our reservations over the phone and greeted us when we arrived. He made sure all our needs were met. They have a restaurant adjacent to check-in. Our Happy Hour drinks arrived immediately and our delicious, freshly prepared meal arrived quickly. Of our 2000 mile road trip, this was my favorite stay.
Don't be deceived by breakfast! It appears like a regular free continental breakfast- only to be slapped with a $34 bill for cold fake eggs and spongy cold sausage with oatmeal. Hardly $40 fare. And the restaurant purveyor was about as friendly as a snake. Rooms were clean and decent. Other staff were warm and welcoming. We won't be staying there again if avoidable.
Very dated and worn out looking. Not very clean. Breakfast was atrocious.mold in shower. Shower gel dispenser broken and no soap in bathroom. Water in shower shooting everywhere- floor was a sopping wet mess. Phone didn’t work. No one cleaned the room or brought fresh towels. Went to front desk and they said that they only clean rooms every other day??? I would give this hotel a 0 if I could.
They had a new system that charged me almost double what I had expected. It took 3 hrs (we had to leave), but they called back, refunded the difference. Appreciated their listening and trying to figure the problem. The system also messed up some others.
Absolutely stupendous hotel with wonderful staff and breakfast. The made-to-order complimentary breakfast is like no other hotel, soo good! Much better than the typical "hot" hotel breakfast. I recommend an omelet with spinach and mushrooms w/ bacon. The lady who helps serve the breakfast was super nice to us. We had stayed a few months ago for a business trip.
I gave this hotel a 3 star because my son broke out from the pool, the chemical was Too strong. We also was having issues with the ACE. But other than that it was a very nice hotel.
