Stayed here for my birthday as a frequent Florida traveler, and came specifically for the Lainey Wilson event. The location is great, but the true highlight of my stay was Jerry, the pool bartender. He was absolutely spectacular and made my entire visit so much more enjoyable. The indoor bartenders could definitely take a few notes from him on customer service

Excellent location! Downtown Tampa in the heart of the action just walking distance away. Great ambience in the lobby bar area where we had our evening wine to start our night. Beautiful view from our room onto the waterway. The service from check in, bar, valet & restaurants on the premises were wonderful. Look forward to returning.

Our stay at this hotel was magical. The hotel is beautiful with stunning views of the water. We enjoyed the close access to the trolley that we took to dinner and my husband and I enjoyed a glass of wine at the outside hotel bar. My girls loved the pool and we enjoyed the stunning views. The hotel is a great location and closely located to the water taxi. The city lights on the water taxi at night was beautiful. The hotel staff was so so kind. They even gave my daughters stuffed animals. We will truly remember this trip to Tampa. Thank you so much!

We had a lovely time at this Marriott! Its a great location within walking distance to restaurants and entertainment. Our room was immaculate and comfortable. The Concierge lounge was well stocked and had great service. We were somewhat dissappointed with service at the bar both inside and outside at Anchor and Brine.

Love this hotel. Stayed there a couple of weeks ago for a business meeting and really enjoyed our stay. Great location, nice rooms, great amenities. staff was excellent. A specific shoutout to Precious, who works at the Bonvoy Desk in the lobby. I had a minor problem with my room reservation and I feel like she went above and beyond for me to resolve my problem. Sweet, courteous, caring and excellent customer service and I cannot say enough good things about her. Because of her we went from a good stay to an excellent stay. Thank you.

This hotel has a scam with online bookings and cancellations. Its practically impossible to cancel and then 3 to 5 days prior they book your charge with zero tolerance.
Never staying here again.

Whether in town for business or pleasure, this location is perfect. Within walking distance of almost everything. We spent the weekend for a concert at Amelie Arena, and this riverfront property was incredibly convenient with perfect location location location. Of course you will pay "downtown" prices, but for this level of service and convenience, it was well worth it

One of my favorite Marriott stays ever and I’ve been a Titanium Elite for 10+ years. The hospitality team went above and beyond to have a balloon, chocolate covered strawberries, and bottle of champagne in our room to celebrate my wife’s birthday. I’m incredibly grateful because that really was the ‘icing on the cake’ for a great stay at the really beautiful property. Highly recommend Tampa Marriott Water Street!

I generally enjoy staying at Marriott hotels, but my recent stay was somewhat disappointing in terms of cleanliness. After flying into Tampa, I stayed at the Marriott on Water Street. I chose this location because it was close to the arena where I was attending a concert that night and had a great view of the harbor.

When I checked in, Sasha assisted me and made me feel like a valued Elite member. She thoroughly explained all the amenities the hotel offered and the benefits I would receive as an Elite member. As is my routine at any hotel, I first checked the view and then sprayed the bed and other areas with Lysol. Unfortunately, when I pulled back the sheets, I found a noticeable stain that looked like it might be a bodily fluid. I took a picture and called housekeeping to have the sheets changed.

While getting ready for the concert, I inspected the towels. The first towel was fine, but the second had a small stain, and the third had a dried-up booger. To top it all off, I woke up to find my sink backed up.

I reported the sheet issue to Manager Robert Little, who was eager to correct the situation. He informed me that he would address the issue with the housekeeping manager and offered me a suite as compensation. I declined the offer since I was only staying for one night.

Overall, I like the hotel, but housekeeping needs to improve significantly!

Beautiful property! I was there for the DI conference. The facilities were great. Food amazing! The restaurant choices were wonderful. I will dream about that guacamole! And the mushroom flat bread Yum! But over all of that what was super amazing was your staff. So friendly!!! Checking in went smooth and her recommendations were spot on. Then I ran into flight issues and Raphael was so kind and helpful at 1:30 am! I cannot say enough about your property and staff!!! Anyone traveling to Tampa, will receive a recommendation to Marriott Tampa 505 Water Street!!
Thank you for being amazing!

This is my favorite hotel in Tampa. It's the only one I stay at when I visit. The rooms are so clean. Last time I stayed there, they upgraded my room to have a balcony!! I loved my city view. The pool is also fabulous here. Highly recommend.

We will be back to this property. The people are so warm and gracious. They are the definition of hospitality. Anna Herrera banquet manager deserves a shout out for being so warm and full of grace. Mike, the bartender at SiX could not be more informative and helpful with local information that was very useful to us being our first visit. Thank you all, have a wonderful holiday!

This is a beautiful hotel. My room was very comfortable and spacious. I was near a Water way, so I got to see a lot of beautiful yachts and boats. There were wonderful restaurants alongside the water way as well. Having a Starbucks inside the hotel was very outstanding and convenient. I would stay at this hotel again if I came back to Tampa.

Great hotel in a prime location for visiting the convention center. The rooms are the nicest in the area (though I haven't yet stayed at the new JW next to it so can't compare them), and the in-hotel restaurants just keep getting better. Many rooms have a balcony, but the water view side is of course the nicer view.

Came here for New Year's of 2022. It was a little packed in the valet, but other than that, the hotel was just beautiful. When we got inside, check-in was quick. The front desk workers were very professional and nice. They even let us check our a little later, and we also were behind on check-in, but they were understanding about it. The views from the rooms were amazing. Rooms were clean. There is a rooftop area on the 3rd floor where the view was so amazing also. I am definitely coming back here for New Year's of 2023.

A beautiful hotel with several bars, restaurants, friendly staff, outdoor pool and great views of the city. Our company held an event in the meeting spaces and ballroom, which were very spacious. The room was very nice and had a balcony on one of the upper floors. Great place to stay in downtown Tampa!

This new smelling, nicely cleaned, pet friendly location made this the perfect stay for our trip. The free breakfast set up was nicely organized and well thought out. The beds were comfortable and the towels, soft. Our room had a Keurig. Their soaps, lotions and shampoos are Dove brand. Although some might be disappointed that they don't get to take home any mini sizes...I liked the mounted larger sizes!
There's USB charging ports by the bed and the TV was updated and large. They gave us a room close to the back door which was a convenient option to let our dog out frequently and not worry that he was bothering other guests. We had other pet parents residing near by so it put us at ease.
To say I would stay here again would be an understatement, because my kid didn't want to leave.

This has been a terrible experience from the jump. No sign of management to even complain too. I’ve spent 4 nights so far and haven’t had my trash taken out, towels refreshed, or any cleaning service what so ever. The water only works periodically and the lobby and common areas are filthy. There are plenty of other hotel options near by. Same on me for choosing this unmanaged location.

Many restaurant choices in the area. Attractions are easy to reach.
Heated pool outdoors. Rooms have liquid shampoo, creme rinse, and body wash in the shower, as well as liquid soap by sink. Rain head shower. Beds are extremely comfortable!! Free cable TV with lots of channels to choose from.
Pleasant staff at desk. Good breakfast choices and if at hotel an afternoon snack (ice cream) .
This is the nicest Holiday Inn I’ve ever been to. Clearly recently updated, everything is new and clean, everyone was friendly and helpful on staff. Free ice cream and breakfast. Perfect stay, highly recommended.

So impressed with this hotel! Greeted by such a kind staff member who gave us cold water bottles and told us that they serve free ice cream in the lobby every night 8pm - 10pm. All areas of the hotel was super clean and fresh - manager even told us they just finished a whole renovation. All rooms have refrigerator, Kureig with pods, and microwave.

Breakfast in the morning was LITERALLY the best breakfast I’ve ever had in a hotel! Hot fresh omelets, sausage, oatmeal bar - will definitely be back!

The people were nice and friendly. Breakfast was fantastic, and they even had ice cream at night from 6pm to 10pm. There was an accident outside that knocked out the electricity from 6am to 9:30am and they were very helpful with everyone. Wouldn’t mind staying there again.

Was there for a wedding and landed in FL on the day of rehearsal. I checked into the room and was about to change my outfit and use the restroom when I noticed that there was a residue of hair and dirt on the toilet seat. The room smelled of humidity and the safe was not working at all. I had unpacked most of my things as per getting ready(in a rush) for the rehearsal and later when I spoke to the clerk at the front desk, she declined to compensate me in any way and rudely gave me another room. I had to pack once again and transfer my things, as well as my wife's and ended up being late for the rehearsal. They could have at least offered to help transfer my suitcases and/or offer a discount for my stay or something ... VERY DISAPPOINTED

Tampa Hotels with Hot Tub in Room

On our site, you'll find 13 hotels and private rentals with in-room Jacuzzis across the Tampa Bay metro area, with rates typically running $96 to $379 per night. Tampa's Jacuzzi hotel market is shaped by its geography: the metro spreads across a wide bay with distinct clusters in South Tampa, the airport corridor, the eastern suburbs, and the Pinellas County coastline. At the high end, the Seminole Hard Rock is one of the largest casino resorts in the southeastern US and sits in its own category at $500+. At the budget end, converted apartment-style hotels in the Hyde Park neighborhood offer in-room Jacuzzis for around $100. This guide helps you find the right fit across Tampa's different areas.

Which Tampa Areas Have the Best Jacuzzi Hotels?

South Tampa and Hyde Park are the city's most characterful neighborhoods for a Jacuzzi stay. The Hyde Park Hotel is a 1926 converted apartment building on W Bristol Ave, two blocks from Bern's Steakhouse and half a mile from Hyde Park Village. Select rooms feature a Jacuzzi tub and/or wall-mounted fireplace, and every unit has a full kitchen and free parking at around $100/night. It's worth checking photos before booking, as not all rooms include the tub. The Hotel South Tampa & Suites on S Dale Mabry is another budget pick with private Jacuzzis and free breakfast at $96/night.

The airport and northwest corridor along Benjamin Rd and W Waters Ave is the most practical zone for travelers passing through or needing easy highway access. The Country Inn & Suites Tampa Airport North is the strongest pick here – private Jacuzzi suites, free airport shuttle, and complimentary breakfast at $149/night. The La Quinta Tampa Central near George M. Steinbrenner Field offers an in-room Jacuzzi, a pool, and free breakfast at $130, and is pet-friendly.

New Tampa and Wesley Chapel, in the northern suburbs, suit couples who want newer builds with clean amenities away from city congestion. The Holiday Inn Express & Suites Tampa-I-75 sits inside Highwoods Preserve, a master-planned development off Galbraith Rd, with private Jacuzzis and an on-site restaurant ($164). The Hampton Inn & Suites Tampa-Wesley Chapel is minutes from the I-275/I-75 interchange, with Jacuzzis and a pool at $135/night.

The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on Orient Rd is in a category of its own – a AAA Four Diamond resort expanded to 800 rooms with a $700 million project completed in 2019, with three outdoor pools, the Rock Spa & Salon, and nine restaurants, ts including Council Oak Steaks & Seafood. Gold Suites in the 17-story East Tower run 900 sq ft with soaking tubs and separate walk-in showers at $500+/night. The amenity depth is unmatched anywhere else in the Tampa metro.

What About the Wider Tampa Bay Area?

About 16 miles northwest of downtown Tampa, the Best Western Plus Yacht Harbor Inn in Dunedin sits directly on the marina overlooking St. Joseph's Sound. Its Two-Room Suite includes a whirlpool tub, king and queen beds, and a balcony, with the on-site Bon Appétit restaurant and complimentary breakfast included at $178/night – a genuinely scenic waterfront option. Dunedin's walkable downtown and proximity to Honeymoon Island (4 miles) and Clearwater Beach (5 miles) make it one of the more pleasant spots in the wider metro for a relaxed overnight. The Country Inn & Suites St. Petersburg–Clearwater in Pinellas Park offers Jacuzzis, free breakfast, and an outdoor pool at $102/night, about 18 miles from downtown Tampa – a solid budget anchor for exploring the Pinellas side of the bay.

What Types of Jacuzzi Rooms Are Available in Tampa?

The majority of Tampa's Jacuzzi hotels place tubs in the bathroom rather than the sleeping area – the Renaissance Tampa and Hard Rock Gold Suite both follow this layout. Hyde Park Hotel is the likely exception, given its apartment-conversion footprint, where select rooms may position the tub outside a standard bathroom layout. Heart-shaped tubs are not available in this market. The listing also includes five private rental homes with outdoor hot tubs near Busch Gardens and downtown, ranging from $175–$814/night depending on size and group capacity.

When Should You Book a Tampa Jacuzzi Suite?

Winter is Tampa's peak season. The dry season (December–April) drives sustained demand, and Gasparilla Pirate Festival in late January/early February – one of the largest parade events in the southeastern US – creates a sharp spike in downtown-adjacent hotels requiring 3–4 weeks advance booking. Spring training (February–March) adds demand in the Dunedin and Clearwater areas, and Buccaneers home games push up rates around Raymond James Stadium on game weekends.

Summer (June–August) is off-peak by Florida standards, and this is when weekday Jacuzzi suite rates at properties like the Country Inn Airport and La Quinta Central drop to their lowest. The Hard Rock is the consistent exception – casino traffic keeps demand stable year-round, and pricing changes minimally by season.

Picking the right Jacuzzi hotel in Tampa comes down to what surrounds the soak: Hyde Park for neighborhood character and value, the airport corridor for convenience, New Tampa for quieter suburban comfort, and Dunedin for the only waterfront option with genuine Gulf Coast scenery.
