We had a wonderful time on our 20 yr anniversary at our cute little private cabin! My husband wanted stars and privacy, I wanted lake and mountains, we got the best of everything! Easy rentals of water crafts (or free options) great views, peaceful, relaxing!
My 1 recommendation for those staying here, this is off thr beaten path. Go shopping before you go there it's a good 20 min from town!

This was our first time here and we loved it! The staff were simply amazing, very kind, considerate, and attentive to their guests. Special shout out to Bri, Todd, Larry, and Samantha they were all really genuine, sweet people. The facilities were awesome, our suite had a beautiful view, and a comfy feel all around.

We didn't realize that we had pre-prepared hummingbird nectar in the refrigerator until we went to the front desk asking to refill our feeder. lol Each place has it's own feeder with refills in the refrigerator.

The dock was simply amazing and we spent at least half of our time on it. The fishing room was the best I've ever seen and it's fantastic that they supply poles, some tackle, minnows and worms. You can tell that they really put a lot of love into this place.

Lastly, we rented a pontoon boat for a half day and took it up to Hogscald and Lover's Leap. This is one of the most beautiful regions on Beaver Lake and I highly recommend that you do it.

We will definitely be back.

Having stayed at some of the finest resorts, hotels and time shares tied to Table Rock, Bull Shoals, Beaver Lake and Taneycomo, Beaver Lakefront Cabins rises to the top!
Super staff, excellent accommodations, fantastic location just a short walk, or drive, to the dock and plenty of free activities to keep you occupied. I loved the gas stove and Napolean gas grill. The whole coffee beans and grinder were a nice touch, as were the bathrobes and slippers. Great shower!
Lastly, we rented a pontoon and ran it from 9am-1:00pm. They don't have fuel service at the dock so we were told maintenance would fill it up and my card billed. This was a little concerning at first, but once home and I was able to log into my account, all concerns vanished and faith in humanity restored!😄
Fuel costs were more than fair!!
We'll definitely return!!

This is a gorgeous, secluded getaway! The suites are fully equipped, comfortable and luxurious. Enjoyed sitting on the patio overlooking the lake, listening to and watching all the wildlife, including a hummingbird. It is May so the weather is perfect. Check in and out was super easy. Definitely recommend.

What a wonderful place to stay!!!! My wife and I stayed here to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. The room was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. The view of the lake was beautiful. It was nice to sit in the balcony in the early morning and enjoy a cup of coffee with my wife. It was so peaceful and pleasant. This is definitely a great place to stay and we will definitely book here again.

This is our second time staying here and we really enjoy the suites and the views are spectacular. We love hanging out in the jacuzzi and looking at the lake and on a clear night the sky is lit up with so many stars.

The suites are outfitted with everything you need, including a grill on the deck. It's a perfect spot if you wanted to bring your own food and drinks for the weekend and never leave.

If you're going to be spending a lot of time away from the suite in downtown Eureka it may get tiresome making the drive back and forth, but the twisty Arkansas roads make the drive more enjoyable and fun.

My husband booked a cabin for our wedding anniversary this weekend. The location is amazing and the property is beautiful. When requesting the cabin we asked that it be on the river so we could fish, that it have a fire place and kitchenette so we could stay there instead of eating out, and that it have a jacuzzi.
When we checked in and got our keys we immediately couldn't get the fireplace to work and had to try to fix the blinds. They were broken apart in so many places that you could openly see bed from the window in the door. They were "fixed" with a clothes pin for privacy. We called the office and was told "it would take a while" but she would send someone to light the fireplace. We walked down to the dock and decided against fishing that night because of the holes and rotten wood. There were no signs posted saying otherwise but im sure its not safe and could be an insurance hazard. We then decided to make our grocery list and go to the local store for dinner. When we arrived back to the cabin we began to prepare to cook. The stove in the kitchen had no power. 3 hours had passed since our first call so we called again. This time we were told that "he is busy cooking dinner and there are 2 people ahead of you and then he will be over." We decided to make a fire on the ground out of rocks to cook our pan items while my husband cooked on the grill provided. (Big enough for 2 steaks)
After it was nearly finished, someone drives up in a golf cart with a hand held torch. He went inside and lit the fireplace but came out and told me "I don't know what to tell ya about the stove. I couldn't get it to come on." At this point our rock stove had worked so it wasn't a huge deal.
Five minutes after he left the fireplace went back out. There was a split electric unit that luckily was functional because it was 50⁰ on the thermostat.
After we finally got dinner finished and the cabin warmed we decided to use the hot tub.... and you guess it, it didn't work. 😒
When we went to turn in the keys the next morning we were told Mr Lindsey would be calling at lunch to help make it right... its been over 24 hours and we still have not recieved a call. We paid nearly $400 for a single night in a cabin without any functioning amenities. We stay in cabins often and this was the most expensive place we've stayed and it wasn't even as clean as it should have been for the price.

Love this place! It's definitely convenient if you have a big family or party coming into to town, because all of the cabins are within walking distance from each other. We didn't get to try the restaurant, but we hope to next time!

I’ve been staying at Lindsey‘s for now on 40 years… We always look forward to the adventure until the last three years… I was putting a cabin this time called overflow but was a little two bedroom hut with bed so hard you couldn’t sleep on them you could tell me haven’t been taken care of at all and still charged $130 a night.. They were booked out for the weekend due to wedding so I couldn’t change rooms so we managed.. The trout dock is falling apart.. Actual boards falling in… The property is not being taken care of anything like it was before it was sold to a corporation… It’s very sad…. I think this will be my last time enjoying a trout fishing adventure there.. Very disappointed staff doesn’t care… The place is falling in…

Nice location. Hard to navigate modern campers to the sites with the narrow roads.

Updated, their facilities are deteriorating and they don't seem to concerned about repairs or the concerns of their guests anymore.

The Restaurant at Lindsey's is an absolute gem that never ceases to amaze us, no matter how many times we dine here. Every visit feels like a personal experience, thanks to the consistently excellent service and the warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Our latest visit was nothing short of spectacular. We started with drinks—Trout Water and a Coconut Pineapple Margarita—both outstanding choices that set the tone for the evening. The appetizer of fries topped with cheese and real bacon pieces was a decadent start, perfectly crispy and flavorful. The side salads, served with house-made Ranch dressing, were fresh and delicious, a testament to the care taken in every dish.

For our main courses, we had fish tacos and a 20 oz ribeye cooked Pittsburgh Style rare. This is the ONLY place where I’ve ordered Pittsburgh Style and have it perfected every time. The ribeye was incredibly tender, perfectly marbled, and an absolute steal at $45. The sautéed green beans were crisp-tender and seasoned to perfection, rounding out a meal that was truly exceptional.

To finish, we indulged in a moist chocolate cake topped with whipped cream and a generous scoop of ice cream nestled in the center—a delightful way to end an extraordinary meal.

And let’s not forget the view! Overlooking the Red River, the scenery adds another layer of magic to the dining experience. (They also have fishing guides, rooms, etc.)

We can’t recommend The Restaurant at Lindsey's highly enough. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this place is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back again and again!

2020:
The Pot O' Gold restaurant is an off the grid gem! We have eaten here several times with the most recent being on Friday night the 27th of December. This is an absolute fabulous place to get a Pittsburgh style steak! Lindsey cooks this 18 ounce ribeye himself, always charred to our perfection and temperature (and I'm a tough sell when it comes to a steak). The fried cornbread appetizer special was delicious, as were are accompaniments of salads, rolls, baked potato, and sauteed green beans. We finished with desserts of home made carrot cake and chocolate molten cake which dissolved in our mouths. Our server, Mallory, was exceptional, very attentive, and did a flawless job (all the staff participate in ensuring customer care). There is beer and wine available, I enjoyed a delicious Moscato. The servings are ample and we always have to-go boxes to take and enjoy the next day while relaxing on our houseboat. The Pot O' Gold restaurant is definitely a destination!

Beware. Stayed less than a week. Booked and paid through Expedia. Never ate at their restaurant or stepped foot in their store but somehow had $1100 in charges to our room. My best guess, giving them the benefit of the doubt, is that someone charged things to our room number. Worst case is that they just added charges to rip us off. We won't be back and will actively warn people away. The charges were ultimate removed but the entire experience left me uncomfortable with my stay.

My family used to visit Lindsey's resort every summer for our family reunion so, I decided to make the trip this year to share the experience with my children. Upon arrival nostalgia kicked in and I was very much excited to bring my children to a place I had such fond memories of. However, as much as my heart loves this place it left me with much to be desired. The motel style rooms are adequate and as I expected. Clean, tidy and functional. The particular AC unit in our room struggled to keep up with the heat but cooled down at night for comfortable sleep. (A future upgrade will definitely be needed for the unit). The grounds were well kept. Outside of the pool which wasn't functional and very green. A great disappointment for my family as this was a selling point for us and we had planned to utilize it often. We had to leave the resort to occupy accompanied children. The overall feel of the place is nostalgic and wonderful. Although not much has changed in the last 20 years of my previous visits. Except for the additional spotty wifi and oddly enough Tesla chargers? The staff was great, friendly and helpful. Overall Lindsey resort is wonderful but I wish it had some better upkeep compared to some of the other surrounding resorts. The pool especially. I'm unsure if I will return in the future unless some changes are made. But still, I had a great time sharing this trip with my family.

We had such an awesome experience here. This was our first time and we were so impressed with how neat and clean the property and rooms were. It exceeded our expectations. I saw some bad reviews so I wasn't sure what to expect. The prices are great and the staff and residents in the area were so nice and welcoming. This will be our new favorite place. The views are amazing, the resort is quiet and peaceful, and you can't beat the fishing! They have fishing tours and boats to rent. What more could you ask for for a weekend getaway!

The little red river is as beautiful as any in the world. And if you’re looking for a good time to catch some trout and just enjoy the outdoors. Lindsay‘s is a wonderful place to visit. They have some great cabins and the motel is very nice also. The guide services that they offer are absolutely amazing. The guys do an excellent job of explaining everything and making sure that you want for nothing while trying to fish. I always think that even if I don’t catch any fish, it’s OK, because the river is just that beautiful. But I usually don’t have a problem with that. when, considering where to go on the little red river. I would highly recommend Lindsay’s!

I was looking for a Father and Son fishing trip and after staying here I will never need to look any further either for myself or with family. Cabins rustic, clean, very well equipped/utensils, no stove but don't need got bbq with lid, river is very close and docks to fish from. Staff was very friendly and Hostess Teri and Rebecca, Guide "J", and Chef Tony were Exceptional in their skills. Being able to just relax on a seats provided porch in a quiet setting among trees was so good for the body, this place is it! They also provided really good coffee with maker. Pot O' Gold Restaurant was worth the wait.

We held our family reunion here several years in a row. The cabins were great. Access to the river, great fishing, and the restaurant cooked up our catch for us.
I liked it so much, in fact, that I moved to Heber Springs and opened a business.

This review only pertains to the RV campground. We did not stay at the cabins or eat at the restaurant. Having said that, the place looks very nice. The grounds are well kept and the exterior of all the cabins look maintained and nice. The resort sits on a great location along the Little Red River and has a dock. The reason for the 3 star review is that the campground seems like an after thought. Sites are laid out poorly with sewer/water/electric hook ups in strange and odd locations. It looked like most sites were shared and very few had picnic tables or fire rings. We had reservations months in advance but decided not to stay. The lady at the front desk was very understanding and returned our deposit. While I can't recommend for campers everything else seems very nice.

Great cabin all around. Had everything we needed and was very private. Bed was super comfy and we really enjoyed sitting out on the large screened in back deck and seeing and hearing nothing but nature. Communication with the owner was perfect.
The location was still very convenient to all Hocking Hills things.

For my wedding we rented the spacious Rush Creek Retreat cabin for our out of town guests. I had 8-10 guests from out of town that stayed there and about 5 additional guests that visited, but didn’t stay the night. Everyone had so much fun. We had wine, food, bon fires, and enjoyed the hot tub with the crisp fall air. My guests loved the privacy and that there were not any bunk beds. It was all queen size beds at Rush Creek Retreat cabin. There were 2 living rooms, 2 kitchens, 2 dining rooms, a large deck. The double bed rooms had private bathrooms. Then there were 2 shared bathrooms as well. Also, a laundry room. It’s such a stunning nature view too.
My husband and I had The Kennedy cabin for our wedding night. It was absolutely beautiful. We rented The Jackson cabin when we returned in December. It was a spacious and very private cabin. We warmed ourselves next to the fire, enjoyed the hot tub (which feels so good when it’s cooler outside). We absolutely loved the Valley View Hills Winery during our visit. The brick oven pizza is delicious and we got to enjoy our favorite wines that we had at our wedding. We even got a case to take home. The cabins and restaurant were beautifully decorated for the holiday. Also, at the office they have a paper with suggestions of things in the area. My husband and I went hiking at the Steppes. It was about an 8 minute drive from the cabin. The views were breathtaking. They have caves, waterfalls, and trails. I even saw fish swimming below the ice at the bottom of a frozen waterfall. My husband and I will be back this fall/winter and probably every year after too.

stayed here a few years ago..very good experience spotless clean cabin etc.. looking again..but wait !!..a $50 "cleaning fee" has now appeared since covid--so you are telling me your properties were dirty before covid???..another example of a business taking advantage of the covid cult by adding such a fee..what $50 to open the windows and spray some lysol around??? whats the difference between how you cleaned a cabin pre covid to now???

needless to say I jogged on by and went elsewhere. sad that people will exploit a situation like this. sadly too may will think this fee is "for their protection "when it did not exist 2 years ago yet the cabin was just as clean then. wake up people and avoid business that try and exploit you !!

APRIL 2023 UPDATE - cleaning fee for the one bed cabin gone up from $50-$75 (50%)and big cabins charging up to $175 to clean after a 2 night stay!!
that Biden post Covid "transitory" inflation really kicking in.....

IN reference to the business justifying $3500 a year cleaning costs due to "inflation" especially the price of chlorine tablets for hot tubs..be informed. I have a 400 gallon 6 person hot tub at home- the price of chlorine has increased significantly from around $12 per pound of 1 inch tablets for a floating sanitizer to around $18 per pound. I use around 1lb per month so $200 a year on average. must be some expensive toilet roll and lysol wipes to justify the other $3000 !!!. not buying the not increasing room rates argument. people..please be informed....
too many business charging cleaning fees, service fees..credit card fees then have their hands out expecting tips also
quite simple..decide to pay the fees..or look elsewhere

BTW the Menonites that own a lot of cabins just south of Logan charge no booking fees, no cleaning fees and have better rates. Enough said- just have to book early as they book up months in advance at popular times

Love this place! Stayed at Kennedy in 2011, now here at Van Buren 1, never disappointed! READ the guest books in the cabins!! You never know what you may read about someone. We did, and it was like reading history books! Very cool! We'll be back again and again!

My husband and I had a just for two wedding and stayed at the Kennedy. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Before we arrived I always got quick and thorough answers to all of my questions and the Minister even build a fire in the fireplace for us! The cabin was clean and inviting. We would definitely recommend staying here and would love to come back!

Great owners...clean facilities. There could have been some mirrors in the bedrooms for the families who had girls getting ready to attend the wedding...to free up bathroom space for the boys, but other then that...great place. Recycling is on your own here. We took ours 20 minutes into the Recycling center in town.
