Nice quiet, bed was firm and comfortable... shower stall was amazing... Only thing I can say needs improvement is that the breakfast needs to have more staff filling up the scrambled eggs and bacon, both were empty when I arrived, only 2 danish also...
Great hotel, clean room, with a new-ish feeling bathroom. The shower was fairly large and had high pressure. The TV was also modern and easy to use, which I can’t say for a lot of chain hotels I’ve been to recently, so that’s a plus! I had my dog with me and had no issues at all, all the staff was incredibly friendly. And I can’t be mad about any place that has free waffles for breakfast!
Just stayed for one night but was very happy with the experience. Check in was fast and the staff was nice and friendly. The room was nice and clean. The included breakfast was a big plus for us and most importantly it was a pet friendly experience (was traveling with three cats) overall great experience and will consider Best Western again in the future.
Pros: BREAKFAST, location, parking, easy check In, clean lobby and room, soft beds, flat and fluffy pillows, and quiet.
Cons: a little higher priced than I like to spend but worth it.
Other perks: allowed for enclosed trailer parking, they have a hot beverage dispenser to allow for the mocha and latte drinks including hot chocolate. We are not pet owners and usually can tell there are animals in the hotel but this one the place was well kept so we didn’t notice.
Stayed last night, had to write a review after I read the 1 star review, not sure what hotel that person was talking about, but couldn’t have been this one ! Our room was updated, & impeccably clean. We had a king bed room, lots of room with couch & desk. Nice large tv, updated bathroom, very spotless! Refrigerator & Keurig. Quiet location, yet close to interstate. Breakfast room was open at 6 AM, LOTS of food selections. Only complaint is mattress was too soft, but still comfy. Would definitely stay here again.
In May 2024 I spent one night at the Best Western Plus in Dalton, GA. What a delightful surprise. The hotel was beautiful, clean, and in nice surroundings. I had not expected it to be so elegant. The room has perfect – spotless and well-appointed. The breakfast was very good. I definitely recommend this Best Western if you are visiting Dalton.
Stayed here coming and going and had two solid experiences. Woke by a loud argument in the parking lot once, but that seems unusual for here. Very near the Chilis for a quick bite. Clean room, clean sheets. Bed was softer than we would choose. Seemed updated fairly recently. Had a walkin shower -without a bath tub. Curtains good for keeping out light when you are trying to sleep in. Front desk had little convenience shop with ice cream, beverages, microwave meals. Fridge worked fine. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
Positives Plenty of counter space Excellent breakfast bar. The espresso grinder was not working. Lots and lots of wall outlets! The clock had both USBa and USBc. The AC fan ran all night. (Constant on feature). Wonderful. Quiet room facing college drive Room was clean.
Negatives Allergies. I sneezed all day the next day. I'm allergic to dust and dogs. Not sure if the pillows were not hypoallergenic or if opening the curtains did it. Small room. Big desk and big chair just don't fit No glass walk in shower like I expected. White tub. Careful if you walk on grass. Looks like this is a pet friendly hotel. I think that at $159 for a Tuesday it was overpriced . The hotel is an older property and it shows the signs. The beds seemed smaller than queen sized. The wall thermostat was not hooked up to the a/c. There was leftover water in my Keurig had water in it that I had to dump out. I never use water left by someone else.
It was ok. Wouldn’t stay again if I had another choice. The beds were squeaky, elevators were squeaky, curtain rods were squeaky. The chair didn’t fit under the desk making it a tight squeeze in the front of the room. My son kept pointing out the bubbling and peeling on the bathrooms walls and ceiling. Coffee was out on a Saturday morning. I understand it was busy however should be staffing accordingly to keep up. Not worth what we paid for one night.
The room was phenomenal, cleaned to perfection before arrival, plenty of towels, a nice clean bathroom, microwave, mini fridge along with the tv that has streaming options. Wifi was great. Location was great, and the staff were amazing. I would give 10 stars if i could. As a marriott employee myself, i want to say thank you to this team of employees for such great customer service and work ethic. I will absolutely be back in the future!! ❤️
Was an excellent visit with great service. everyone at the desk on Sunday night and Monday morning were wonderful and Brenda in the café was very kind and helpful. Highly recommend this place.
Staff was very friendly. They assisted me in multiple ways. The room was wonderful. Traffic was light on the road the entrance is on, so it was easy getting in and out.
The Courtyard Marriott in Dalton, GA, provided an excellent stay. The rooms were impeccably clean and incredibly comfortable, offering a relaxing retreat. However, the highlight was the friendly and accommodating staff, who went above and beyond to make the experience enjoyable. The indoor pool was a fantastic bonus, especially when the temperature outside dipped to a chilly 25 degrees. It’s a perfect spot for comfort and hospitality.
The check-in girl was not friendly. The sink had a terrible musty smell. When checking out, another girl said she’d just email my receipt. I double checked to see if they had my email address, and they did not.
Price was a little high for what you got. The room and common areas were clean and comfortable. The reason I only rated it 3 stars is it was more expensive than most of the neighboring hotels and didn’t include breakfast. Being so close to highway one comes to expect the opportunity for a bite before you get back on the road. My bad for not looking into the hotel more before booking.
Absolutely horrible management.. They charged me $250 for smoking in the room and I don’t smoke. Manger refused to remove the charge and told me to take it up with my credit card company. A $100 a night stay ends up costing me $350. I will never book a room owned or managed by Courtyard / Marriott and will recommend the same to friends & family..
