Moreno Valley Hot Tub Hotels: Quick Guide

Quick reference for booking a Jacuzzi suite in Moreno Valley and the surrounding area, California

Best Time to Visit

  • Spring (March–May): Mild temperatures in the 70s and 80s make spring one of the most comfortable seasons in the Inland Empire. Wildflower blooms appear along the hillsides near Lake Perris and Sycamore Canyon Wilderness Park. Good availability at most properties, with pricing at its most moderate. A comfortable season for exploring outdoor attractions.
  • Fall (September–November): Another pleasant window, with temperatures cooling from summer extremes. Lake Perris and Diamond Valley Lake are still warm enough for water activities through October. Good availability and moderate pricing across the region.
  • Winter (December–February): Cool and occasionally rainy, but still mild compared to most of the country. The quietest season for tourism, offering the lowest prices of the year. Holiday weeks see modest demand. January and February offer excellent availability and value.
  • Summer (June–August): Extremely hot, with temperatures regularly exceeding 100°F and sometimes reaching 110°F. In-room Jacuzzis and pools become essential comfort amenities rather than luxuries. Lake Perris State Recreation Area sees strong summer demand for water recreation despite the heat. Hotels primarily serve business travelers and passing road trippers during this season.
Booking tip: Moreno Valley is positioned in the eastern Inland Empire, roughly equidistant between Palm Springs (about 45 minutes east) and the coastal cities (about 60 minutes west). It functions primarily as a residential and logistics hub rather than a tourist destination. Most visitors use it as a base for day trips to Palm Springs, Big Bear, or Joshua Tree. If heart-shaped Jacuzzis are important for a romantic stay, this region has an unusually strong concentration of properties offering them.

Important Booking Tips for Moreno Valley

  • Confirm the exact room type: Jacuzzi and spa tub rooms are specific upgrade categories. Look for "Jacuzzi Suite," "Whirlpool Room," "Heart-Shaped Tub Room," or "Spa King" when booking. At Hampton Inn and Comfort Inn, not every room includes a private tub.
  • Heart-shaped Jacuzzi concentration: With four heart-shaped Jacuzzi properties (Dynasty Suites Redlands, Citrus Suites Redlands Loma Linda, Dynasty Suites Hotel Riverside, and Thunderbird Lodge), this region has one of the strongest selections of novelty romantic tubs in California. Dynasty Suites Redlands is the clear standout at 9.3/10 and just $76/night. Citrus Suites Redlands Loma Linda is a close second at 9.0/10 and $87/night.
  • Redlands over Moreno Valley for quality: The two highest-rated and best-value properties in this dataset (Dynasty Suites Redlands and Citrus Suites Redlands Loma Linda) are located in Redlands, about 15 to 20 minutes east of Moreno Valley. If quality and a romantic experience matter more than proximity to Moreno Valley city, Redlands is the stronger choice.
  • Summer heat planning: Moreno Valley experiences extreme summer heat, with temperatures regularly exceeding 105°F. If visiting between June and August, prioritize hotels with strong air conditioning and pools. Plan outdoor activities for early morning or evening hours.
  • Pet-friendly picks: Comfort Inn Moreno Valley, Econo Lodge Moreno Valley, Hampton Inn and Suites Moreno Valley, Dynasty Suites Redlands, and Thunderbird Lodge all accept pets. Confirm fees and size limits before booking.
  • Free breakfast included: Comfort Inn Moreno Valley, Econo Lodge Moreno Valley, MainStay Suites, Dynasty Suites Hotel Riverside, Hampton Inn and Suites Moreno Valley, Dynasty Suites Redlands, Citrus Suites Redlands Loma Linda, and Best Western Plus Diamond Valley Inn all include free breakfast. Particularly useful in this region where walkable dining options are limited along hotel corridors.

Second time here. Excellent wines, excellent service. Rooms are clean. Has a king size bed, very comfortable. Has big jacuzzi tub for two and separate shower stall. Received free bottle of wine each night we stayed. Stayed for two nights. Free breakfast. You order the breakfast from a set menu. NOT continental breakfast. Real breakfast and free glass of mimosa. Also got free glasses of wine in the taster room for each day we stayed. Totally worth it. Stayed here Monday and Tuesday night so very quiet. We have a nice view of the vineyard from our patio. Service was great and staff are very cheerful. Very easy to get around town. Plenty of places to go outside of the winery. A lot other wineries around. But this place is my favorite.
What a stunning, magical, fairytale venue and team of incredible staff. Our journey to our wedding at Churon started with a beautiful tour of the venue from Courtney, who patiently answered all our questions and provided us with invaluable information about hosting a wedding at their venue. She passed us to Vanessa, who graciously answered even more questions, provided reassurance, and made us feel like we were home with a friend when we met with her for our final venue meeting. The front desk staff were welcoming and patient all of the many times I called for an update on guests who had booked rooms for the wedding. The servers, bar tenders, and staff setting up and taking down the event made our wedding festivities seamless. In addition, the appetizers, dinner, and wine were FABULOUS! On our final morning after locking ourselves out of our hotel room, my husband and I discovered that the Churon team had surprised us with a BEAUTIFUL welcome sign for our wedding in the lobby of the hotel, and they gave it to us to take home! We felt like this venue was not only more affordable than other wineries in the area, but the whole experience from start to finish made us feel like we were staying in a 10-star hotel. If you are looking for an intimate, fairytale wedding setting with all your closest friends and family, look no further. You will fall in love with Churon!

After a few hours of touring Temecula Wineries, we stayed at the Inn at Churon Winery, which we reserved a week in advance. Our room’s balcony offered a fantastic view of other wineries, grape fields, mountains, and colorful hot-air balloons in the morning.
The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. With live music in the afternoon, everything about the Inn contributes to a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. While the complimentary breakfast had limited choices, the food was freshly made, tasty, and healthy.

Churon winery has lovely wines and wonderful hospitality. The second floor at the Inn is amazing if you like dark and quiet when you need to sleep. The setting is spectacular and the breakfast menu is perfect. The eggs Benedict were impressive. If I come back, I am definitely making a request for the room I had. Thank you. Churon and Paola.

👌Cannot fault our stay at this Charming ‘old world’ Inn . Clean , good service , excellent breakfast. We tried their omelettes , eggs Benedict and French toast. Ask for their home made salsa to accompany your breakfast .
Convenient location - within walking distance to a few wineries.

We booked two nights mid week directly with Churon and Lisa advised us on the best room (212) Not only was Churon cheaper than other accommodations around , but the room was perfect . Second floor , great view . The free breakfast , bottle of wine each night AND a free glass of wine each night in the tasting room was the cherry on top . And yes , they produce excellent wine !

Great service plus a very beautiful room that was very clean. Breakfast was included and it was a sit down, full service table delivered gourmet breakfast. Yummy. Also, the room had a fireplace that kept us all warm and cozy.

What a gem of a place! Everyone here is friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is romantic and the rooms are wonderful. I woke up to hot air balloons and watched them from the balcony. The food is delicious and wines are superb. I came here during the winter and will have to return when the vines and grapes are growing. A beautiful château in the countryside that you will truly enjoy!

This was our first time staying at Churon. We usually frequent Carter Estates but wanted to try something different. The check in process was easy.
We got 2 glasses of wine, a bottle and charcuterie board! So many perks! The room was very nice and had a fire place. The bathrooms were great as well. The view in the morning while drinking coffee was beautiful. We went over for the free complimentary breakfast and really enjoyed it.

Our only critiques were that the string lights stayed on outside all night so our room was very bright. The curtains weren't fully black out.

Needless to say we had a really lovely time and will definitely be back!

Such a Cozy winter retreat at the Inn at Churon Winery. We enjoyed our stay very much! The rooms are gorgeous and beds comfortable. Huge bathroom with a spa tub and separate sinks. We really enjoyed the fireplace and balcony with wonderful views overlooking wine country. Hot air balloons made an appearance on Saturday morning. Was a nice treat.

If I could give Inn at Churon 10 stars, I would!! Took a long weekend to spend my birthday in Temecula (first time visiting), and chose the Inn at Churon for my stay. I’m so glad I did. The staff is excellent - very kind and pleasant (thank you, Cesar and all front desk attendants!). They were so helpful with my planned and surprise birthday arrangements. The property, building, and rooms are charming and extremely clean. The bathroom is large and has beautiful marble finishings and the jacuzzi tub is a great touch. I stayed in a king room, with a view of the vineyards and it was stunning. The complimentary wine tickets for their winery are a nice perk. Also, get the breakfast everyday - it’s so good (and included with your stay!). The location is great and centrally located to many wineries in the area. Would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend!

We were visiting Dana point to go whale watching and this hotel turned out to be the closest to the harbor where the cruises take off. The rooms are clean and comfortable; staff are friendly and responsive. Breakfast is included but could definitely do with a nutritional upgrade in terms of more vegetables. On the last day, some chopped vegetables were on offer besides the scrambled eggs which made for a much more nutritionally balanced and flavorful breakfast. Overall a positive experience.

Very overpriced for how run down it is. Our air conditioner was loud and humming the entire time. It also decided to error on us while we were out for the entire day and we came back to a sauna. Plugs all need replacing everywhere, our cords fell out no matter which ones we tried. House keeping came before 9:30am so we missed them for the entire day (they only swap out towels) They allow animals so we ended up with a barking/howling dog off our bedside wall. They don’t bother to ask you about your stay when you check out so they clearly don’t care how your stay was. Many rooms had out of order signs on them and it just felt dingy and desperately needs an update, especially for the price point. Location is good and breakfast buffet was good but other than that, I definitely wouldn’t recommend.

We loved our stay here! Me and my sister stayed, and she had her baby with her. The hotel provided a crib. Having the separate rooms was perfect- he slept in the other one. The beds were comfortable, my sister considered using the sofa pullout but it was not very comfy. The location is great! Just a quick walk to the beach, and a couple blocks from stores. Breakfast was awesome.
This place was one of my most FAVORITE places I've ever stayed at, ever. The suite we stayed in was incredible!!! It was so luxurious and even had a separate living room. For those nights, one person wants to go to bed, and another still wants to watch TV. All balconies face towards the street which overlooks the water in the distance. Fast food and Starbucks are right across the street, but don't look all run down. The area looks very updated and nice. I loved the full breakfast bar. It was like going to a buffet. They have a pool and gym, we didn't go to but that's nice. They also have computers and print abilities in the lobby. The beach is about a 5-7 minute walk away as well. This place deserved 10 stars! Staff was extremely friendly. We will definitely be back!!

This hotel is just OK as there is both good and areas for improvement. We were greeted during check-in by a friendly person behind the counter. The check-in process was smooth and we received a very nice gift bag with some treats to take to the room. The rooms themselves are clean and smelled good but have some definite aging. The bathtub is stained from extended use, the toilet paper holder is rusted and the door sometimes requires you to put you shoulder into it to get it open. The balcony on the two room suite has a nice view but the seating is so low that if you sit down, you look straight in to the cement wall. Maybe code prevents them from doing so, but high sitting furniture would be a welcome addition.

Here’s the bad part. If you want your room cleaned everyday and your bed made, it isn’t going to happen. We requested numerous times for housekeeping to do so but it never happened. In addition, our towels were taken one day and they didn’t leave any new ones. The next day they took our towels but left us with fewer for some reason. I also requested a new liner for our ice bucket and we were given a giant garbage bag. To top it off, we went outside on our balcony one evening and the pot smoke was so thick from the people next door we had to go back inside. They have no smoking signs on the balconies but apparently it doesn’t do much good. Also, other neighbors were smoking (cigarettes) each morning outside just outside the entrance to the rooms. If you want a true non-smoking hotel, I’m not sure this is the place.

The nicest thing about the hotel was the young lady that was working the breakfast area on Thursday morning. She went way out of her way to make everyone feel welcome and offered a lengthy list of things to see and do. I wish I would have gotten her name because she deserves a raise. We also had several of our cable channels go out during a football game and the maintenance guy who was doing the repair did everything in his power to get it back on. He couldn’t have been more helpful.

The hotel is located a short walk from the shore and there are quite a few things to do in the immediate area including a 4 mile hike/walk which takes you through a conservation area, the beach, sea wall, and through an area with some gorgeous homes.

Checkout was smooth and pleasant. Everyone at the counter was friendly and helpful. I’m sure it’s a leftover from the COVID era but the gigantic plexiglass between the staff and customers reminds me of a convenience store more than a hotel.
