We were pleasantly surprised by this bed and breakfast and would stay again. Joanne is a very communicative host; check in and check out were easy and she explained all the amenities on the property. There is a gated courtyard but unfortunately it rained while we were there so we weren’t able to enjoy that. There is also a common room where we could watch tv, play board games, build puzzles or read a book. The decor in our room had a Mexican art/Day of the Dead theme and the bed was super comfortable. Everything was very clean and the handsoap by the bathroom sink smelled really good! There is a small off-street parking lot designated for guests. The breakfast Joanne made for us was tasty and delicious! We will be back next time we’re in town!

My wife and I decided to try this establishment for a quick 3-night, 2-day weekend getaway. Grace Manor is less than an hour from my home and is black-owned, which made this more attractive. The property is well maintained and located in downtown York, PA, within walking distance from many restaurants and attractions like the TimeLine Arcade and Escape Games Live. We stayed in the Mexican Suite which has a heart-shaped bathtub and a red toilet. The Inn Keeper, Joanne is very nice and knowledgeable about the area. Plus you can text her about anything in the area. The daily breakfast was VERY good. On the first day, we had french toast with carmelized bananas, eggs, sausage, coffee, and non-alcoholic mimosa. On the second day, we had omelets with peppers and onions, bacon, and toast with your choice of a tomato base sweet jam or a spicy jam, plus orange juice and hot water for tea (we apologized to Joanne for wasting the coffee the previous day since we are not coffee drinkers). Can't wait to plan another stay here.

Pros: walking distance to a lot of food and entertainment, each suite has its own private entrance in addition to the main entrance and a lot of things to do within a short drive

Con: steps, no elevator, and can be a challenge for someone who can't handle steps or trying to take the steps with luggage, the Mexican Suite is on the 3rd floor I believe

My husband and I stayed at Grace Manor this past weekend, and it was a fantastic experience. Joann welcomed us and made us feel right at home. I loved that each suite had a deck, which my husband and I spent a lot of time on. We stayed in the Mexican Suite this time and will return to try one of the other suites. Joann, thank you for a beautiful experience.

From the moment we stepped into the foyer, the scent of the season was present and welcoming. The owner was welcoming and greeted us with a warm smile and an itinerary for the weekend. She guided us to our suite and upon entering, we were awed by the decorations and care taken to accentuate the seasonally decorated space. The breakfasts, which are included in this traditional B&B, were delicious, fresh, and aesthetically pleasing. Do yourself a favor and go visit this little town and stay at this charming B&B that is in the center of York, surrounded by shops and eateries. Five out of five stars!

Staying at Grace Manor was such a fantastic experience! I'm so glad I found it. My Paris themed suite was so impeccably styled and the breakfast was sooo delicious. Joanne was the perfect host. It was so lovely chatting with her (& her daughter, who was in town). My husband and I are looking forward to visiting again and experiencing one of the other themed suites!

Beautiful gem in the heart of York! We had such an incredible visit to the Grace Manor. From the moment you walk in the front door, you are surrounded by beauty and greeted with such a warm welcome. Joanne is an exceptional host and it is very evident that she takes great pride in creating an unforgettable experience for her guests. The beautiful and very clean suite, the welcome flowers, the monogrammed hand towel, the welcome basket, arranging an amazing in suite massage with Silvia (whom I really enjoyed visiting with), the delicious 3 course breakfast…everything was simply perfect. The Apple strudel French toast with rum sauce was out of this world!! I’m already excited for my next visit and can’t wait to experience all of the other beautifully decorated suites at Grace Manor.

Rooms were nice, people were friendly and helpful front desk help and housekeeping as well.I had noisy neighbors and they quickly moved me to another room no problem. They have a fitness center as well. There was a problem with the business center but staff gladly printed out documents for me. I would definitely come back again

We started off our experiences on the wrong foot. There was hardly any parking so we needed to park in the back and take all of our bags. There was only one lady working at the front with a line of people waiting to check in, we finally get to the front and fill everything out when we were handed a form for our vehicle (license plate) and we were in a rental. I told her I didn’t know it and We kindly asked if we could take our bags up to the room and I would run to the car and get the plate number. The lady at the front named Amanda said “no you need to go now” we explained it was in the back and we just wanted to drop our stuff off and she rudely responded “no”. Let me go ahead and mention that I am also pregnant. So I walk back to the car to get the license plate and when I return she had already started helping the family behind us. The man gets the same form and says to Amanda “oh I only roughly know the license plate number” to which Amanda responds right In front of me “oh just write something”. This is when I asked for her name. Do NOT stay here if you want to be treated with any sort of respect. This is the worst customer service I have ever received.

The hotel looks decent enough but the room that we booked wasn't available. After a super long drive we just dealt with it for the night. The shower curtain was bent so the shower curtain didn't stay closed, the shower itself didn't work very well and was hard to pull up, the grout on the bathroom tile was missing, there were burn marks in the carpet and stains on the sheets. When we went to cancel the rest of our stay the front desk was on their cell phone and could care less. Overall not happy and wouldn't recommend staying here.

Themed motel rooms. Hotel was quiet, room was clean. Looks like a typical motel from the exterior but my room had a London theme that was bright red and very vibrant. Probably not my decorating style but reasonable place to crash for a evening, close to the airport.

So I had a really nice stay and will likely stay again. The staff were really nice. For some weird reason, they never had any towels for the pool during the entire weekend. So we would have to walk wet to the rooms.

If I could give this hotel negative stars I would!!! We came here for a comp. While my room was sufficient my friends' room was far from fine. The first night they thought they observed a bug on something in their room, as well as what they thought were rust stains on the sheets. They talked to someone at the desk and discussed the option of moving. The staff didnt seem concerned and said they would check the room while cleaning and get back to them. That evening more bugs were found. When they went to the front desk they were met with some of the worst treatment. They simply wanted to use the washer and dryer and were told no. They were also told that earlier in the day housekeeping also found a bug but they were sending it away to be identified. They were told they could leave and find another hotel or deal with it. They were also told they were not getting a refund. In the end they did get a new room but not until very late in the evening. The lack of care, compassion and customer service says all you need to know about this property. We will never be back and I warn others from booking this hotel in the future. Worst experience I have EVER had a hotel.

We very much enjoyed our stay. My only issue is trivial, there were no towels at the pool so we had to leave soaking wet, but otherwise it was great. The linens smelled amazing. Staff was great, especially the front desk lady. We were there 3-11-23 and checked in around 1:30. Please tell her she is great at her job. Anyway, I’d recommend this hotel.
