Reno Hot Tub Hotels - Quick Guide

Quick reference for booking a Jacuzzi suite in Reno, Nevada

Best Time to Visit

  • Summer (June–August): Peak season. The Reno Rodeo in June, Hot August Nights classic car show, and summer access to Lake Tahoe drive the strongest demand of the year. Casino resorts along Virginia Street fill quickly on summer weekends. Book 4–6 weeks ahead for Hot August Nights and Reno Rodeo weekends - these are the two largest single demand events in the market.
  • Winter (December–February): Ski season at Mount Rose and the Tahoe-area resorts keeps Reno demand strong. Casino resorts offer winter packages combining Jacuzzi suites with ski-and-stay deals. New Year's Eve is a major demand spike downtown. In-room hot tubs are especially appealing after a cold day on the slopes.
  • Fall (September–October): Excellent shoulder season. The Great Reno Balloon Race in September and mild fall weather make this one of the best windows for a Jacuzzi getaway. Good mid-week availability at casino resorts, with competitive rates before ski season pricing begins.
  • Spring (March–May): Moderate demand as ski season winds down. The Reno River Festival in May marks the transition into summer. Good value pricing across the market - Eldorado at $44/night and Peppermill at $60/night offer some of the best spring rates among top-rated resorts.
Booking tip: Reno has one of the strongest Jacuzzi hotel markets in the western United States - with an extraordinary concentration of high-rated casino resorts at competitive prices. Peppermill Resort Spa Casino ($60, 9.7/10) and Eldorado Reno Resort Casino ($44, 9.2/10) are among the best price-to-rating Jacuzzi hotels in the entire country. The market is dominated by large casino resorts with tens of thousands of reviews - Silver Legacy (20,136 reviews), Peppermill (12,105), Eldorado (11,172), and Grand Sierra (11,380) provide an unusually deep pool of guest feedback. Renaissance Reno ($242, 9.8/10) is the top non-casino boutique pick.

Jacuzzi Configurations in Reno

  • In-bedroom Jacuzzi (dominant across casino resorts): Tub placed in the room itself - the standard configuration at Reno's large casino resorts. Found at Holiday Inn Express Reno Airport, Silver Legacy Resort Casino, Hilton Garden Inn Reno, Atlantis Casino Resort Spa, Peppermill Resort Spa Casino, Eldorado Reno Resort Casino, and Grand Sierra Resort and Casino.
  • Bathroom-installed spa tub: Jacuzzi integrated into the hotel bathroom. Found at Best Western Plus Boomtown Casino Hotel, Renaissance Reno Downtown Hotel & Spa, Plaza Resort Club Hotel, Reno Suites, and Nugget Casino Resort Sparks.

Important Booking Tips for Reno

  • Hot August Nights and Reno Rodeo: Hot August Nights (early August) and the Reno Rodeo (late June) are the two largest single demand events in the Reno hotel market. Casino resort rates spike significantly during both - book 5–7 weeks ahead for these event weekends. The Great Reno Balloon Race in September is a close third.
  • Confirm your room type: Not all rooms in these casino resorts include a Jacuzzi. Look specifically for "Jacuzzi Suite," "Whirlpool Suite," or "Spa King" when booking - standard casino rooms do not include hot tubs. At large resorts like Silver Legacy, Peppermill, and Grand Sierra, Jacuzzi suites are a specific room category that must be requested at booking.
  • Extraordinary value at Reno casino resorts: Reno's casino resorts subsidize room rates with gaming revenue, creating some of the lowest Jacuzzi suite prices in the country at top-rated properties. Eldorado at $44/night (9.2/10), Peppermill at $60/night (9.7/10), and Grand Sierra at $69/night (7.9/10) offer price-to-rating combinations unmatched in almost any other U.S. market.
  • Renaissance Reno for a non-casino experience: Renaissance Reno Downtown Hotel & Spa ($242, 9.8/10) is the top non-casino boutique Jacuzzi property in Reno - with a full spa, restaurant, and pool without the casino floor atmosphere. Ideal for couples who want a premium spa experience without gaming.
  • Ski season packages: Peppermill, Atlantis, and Grand Sierra offer winter ski packages combining Jacuzzi suites with lift tickets at Mount Rose and Tahoe-area resorts. These packages often provide better value than booking separately - check resort websites directly for current ski-and-stay deals from December through March.
  • Sparks as an alternative: Nugget Casino Resort in Sparks ($145, 7.2/10) sits just east of Reno near Victorian Square and the Sparks Marina. It carries a lower rating than the top Reno resorts at a higher price point - most couples will find better value staying on the Virginia Street corridor in Reno proper.

Used to be called "Fantasy Inn & Suites". Stayed three nights for our honeymoon back in 1996.
Themed rooms, most with large garden tub or whirlpool tubs. Glad to see it's still around even if it's changed names.
Have no idea what it's like now but back then... it was awesome and the staff at the time were outstanding. Hopefully still the same.

Overall, the rooms offer a great getaway to South Tahoe area with access to a jacuzzi if you don’t have one at home and have family that seeks modesty or culturally-appropriate ways to partake in a jacuzzi. My wife and I were disappointed in the jacuzzi jets shooting out quite a bit of dirt into the tub. The front desk was un-phased when I showed them the tub and did nothing to rectify the dirt.

We enjoyed our stay here. Front desk was cheerful and happy to share details about Lake Tahoe fishing and food. It is on the main road with an easy walk to the marina, restaurants, and shops. The bed was comfortable. Relaxing in the large Jacuzzi was so nice.

I’ve stayed in this hotel 4-5 times now and it’s truly one of my go to’s. I recently stayed over the weekend of 8/11-8/13. We had a very busy weekend and when checking out we forgot my boyfriends laundry bag. I didn’t notice until 4 days after we got home. It had some of his favorite shirts and shorts in it. Called the hotel really not expecting much, but after they contacted the maids that cleaned our room I was so pleased to hear they had his bag saved!!! Asked the front desk if they could ship it and I would pay any fees needed since I live two hours away. They said don’t worry about it and we will get it shipped out in a week or so. THE NEXT DAY, his clothes showed up at our door from fed ex. Service like that is why I will be continuing to keep booking here for years to come. Thank you to the Postmarc staff, we really appreciate you 🙂

7/24/23 Amazing! My husband and I loved our stay here! The room gives such romantic vibes, the bed was super comfy and we loved the hot tub🫶🏻! The room was well equipped with mini fridge and microwave which always come in handy. Yes, the tv is kinda old but we loved the ID channel lol. Staff was friendly and you get a bit of discount on a few restaurants. We will definitely be back! 😊

Really nice rooms. Some of the walls could use some touch ups. The bed was nice, and the tub was really large with nice jets.

There was also a nice two headed shower. However, I'm 6'2" and the showers hit me at chest level. So, I had to duck to take a shower.

There was a leaky pipe or something right outside our room, and a trash can was being used to catch the dripping water. Kind of cheap feeling, and that should be fixed right away. I took a picture and attached it to this review.

The staff were nice, and they pointed us to good places to eat.

Docked a star because while the rooms are beautiful and big, ours definitely needed some things done (cords hanging from the TV could've used better install, can lights in ceiling loose, white ground on tub repairs used when the rest is grey, etc) but overall really nice!

Discounts available at a few local businesses when you show your key card

Coffee in the mornings from 6a-11a

Staff super friendly and helpful in making sure you know what's available to you during your stay.

See ya soon!

We have stayed here 5 times now and we love it! It is quiet and romantic. I think my only issue is that some of the rooms need to be redone. So far the cabin room is our favorite

Jayson & Ryan at the front desk were impeccably helpful with my trying to manage a last-minute Saturday night reservation (a challenging time to get a room in Tahoe). They were immensely accommodating with assisting me with my needs, and offered me a number of solutions to ensure I was happily taken care of.

The staff alone make it my new favorite hotel in Tahoe. Add that to the quality of the rooms themselves, and choosing Postmarc is an every-time no-brainer.

A perfect 10 in my book. Thank you Jayson & Ryan for your outstanding care & thorough service.
Postmarc has some of the best customer service I have ever seen at a hotel, regardless of caliber. We stayed there during a snowstorm and they were super understanding of us checking in early to get out of the weather, and for us leaving a day early with a full refund for the extra day, so we got home before the next storm hit. The room was awesome as well, and super unique!

Let's go with the pros first. The exterior is nice and the front desk staff was great. Now the cons. The rooms are very dated and have floor to ceiling mirrors that remind me an adult movie set. They added them to the whirlpool bath as well. As for house keeping, we had lots of hair in the tub upon our arrival.

We had a great experience at this location. The staff (ie., Karen at the front desk) was very accommodating and friendly. The service and free breakfast were great, too.
Karen inocence is one of the most amazingly person you have on your staff. She builds great relationships with her guests and fulfills requests and remembers those requests and fulfills them every time! Thank you Karen for being the #1 reason I stay at this holiday inn.

My family and I stay at a lot of Holiday Inns all over: Elk Grove, Twin Falls, Salem and we have always stayed at the Reno location for years. I am not sure when the Reno location switched hands or whatever has happened but it's not a Holiday Inn anymore. Our last several stays it smells like weed all the time. During this stay it was finally a different a person at the counter who was nice and actually helped us. Before we always came in to a gal who was a hot mess express, always frazzled and could never finish one thing before moving onto the next causing everyone to just stand there and wait. The over all "hotel experience" isn't bad. As a parents we pick Holiday Inn because they normally are ALWAYS the same so we know what we are going to get and the breakfast is super great......except for here. The biscuits are always rock hard and over cooked, they water down the juices so much there isn't even a scent of what the flavor should be and this time around they have watered down the gravy as well. Every other Holiday Inn you absolutely get what you pay for, hospitality, good breakfast and clean, building free of nonsense. I have come to appreciate that as a customer. I hope that this location can get on board in order to remain part of the chain because you do not get what you pay for at all. They also never accommodate Diamond members upgrades and other things like using your points instead of paying. It would be nice if they offered ALL of the same amenities as other locations.

The rooms are really nice and big, but you can hear everything in the hallway and rooms above you. Fantastic staff, free airport shuttle. The guest computer needs to be upgraded, it's terrible. I'd stay here again. Good breakfast.

Amazing rooms and all, but here’s the thing.
It caused me a near-death experience.
Here’s how- I was at the pool, and without hesitation, being the daredevil that I was, I decided to put my hands on one of the walkways around the pool and climbed to the deep end, still staying on the ledge. The first attempt was successful, however, the second attempt went VERY wrong. I was at the 4 foot when I slipped and I started trying to get out of the water because I couldn’t breathe. I was jumping up and down, panicking, and finally, I got saved. To this day onward, I still think about that. It just pops into my mind now and then. Would still come, but WOULD NEVER go to the pool again.
