Even though it is Closing its doors for good this sunday, January 4th..their customer service, friendly staff and the overall experience was once again amazing. We were here 8 years ago on new year eve to celebrate my son's 13th years old birthday. And we came back to celebrate his 21st birthday. Two major milestones that was very important to our family and wea wanted to go to our favorite resort. Thanks for the memorable memories

Great location, close to boardwalk, eateries and casinos. Beach is a block and half walk. Needs an exhaust fan in bathroom for condensation. Shower pressure is good and plenty of hot water. Full kitchen, activities, movie theater and indoor pool. Views are fabulous from balcony.

I stayed at this property from 11.18.25 to 11.20.25. I stayed at this location 2 years ago and that stay was convenient and comfortable. This time, however, I had to call the police on the front desk staff because they refused to release my wife’s package to her on the basis that she didn’t have her ID. First, we called ahead to confirm she could have her package delivered and were told the only requirement was paying a $3.00 fee. Second, she lost her ID on 11.18.25 and the package arrived on 11.19.25 at the hotel, and we advised them of this. Third, she had the order confirmation to her email, the delivery confirmation to her email and a picture of the ID on her phone. They still refused to turn over her package after initially saying it had never arrived. Then, we ordered food earlier on 11.19.25 and left it on the countertop because refrigerating it would have required us to reheat the food and it would have tasted horrible. We had eaten out previously and this was our first time having food in the room. We left the room for 3 hours and returned to several roaches crawling on the kitchen countertop and food. There is no reason why this location should subject its customers to pests. There is no reason why the management should refuse to turn over the property of its customers because it’s enforcing a policy that is not posted when you check in, is not in the terms and conditions of your stay and was not conveyed when we inquired. We will never stay here again.

The Club Wyndham Skyline Hotel provided wonderful, spacious rooms with ample drawer space and hangers. The set up of the elevators going directly to your floor and only being able to enter the building with your room key provided comfort and security. My only challenges was checking out out and the fitness center. There were excessively long wait times (15 - 30 minutes) for these elevators. The fitness room was very basic for a hotel this size. There should be multiple treadmills and universal machines to utilize. I heard that this hotel was closing. That is unfortunate because I certainly would go back.

This place was Atlantic City’s best kept secret! I went here with 5 other friends for a trip and our room was awesome. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, pull out couch, kitchen, and a balcony and it was STILL cheaper than almost every hotel on the boardwalk. There is no resort fee, which I love, because I hate paying for things that I won’t use.

It was super secure, every guest had a wristband that was scanned when going in, so being a bunch of young people we felt more safe.

Elevators weren’t as bad as everyone is saying, we were on the 31st floor and there was maybe twice where we waited longer than 5 minutes.

For parking, we got lucky where we had someone that let us park at there apartment but it IS 25 dollars a day to park at the Wyndham, so it’s best to probably just use another hotels flat rate garage and walk over to the hotel.

It’s in a good location, right off the boardwalk and it’s by Hard Rock and Ocean. Tropicana, Ballys, and Caesar’s is about 30 minutes.

Lots of amenities as well, free movies, shows, game room.

The staff was super friendly, from the moment we checked in they were helpful and explained the security procedures, hotels events and more.

The rumor is this hotel may be closing which is very unfortunate, because you truly can’t beat a place like this.

The staff is super helpful and nice.
It is only about a block from the boardwalk and access to a beach.
The little muffin/bagel cart in the lobby has the sweetest woman working there. She's funny, kind and made my mornings while I was there.
I stayed in the presidential and the room view was great. The beds are comfortable. It has a small kitchen and I hated the pocket door in the main bathroom due to it sticking and if you put it too far into the wall, there was no real way to get it out without struggling.

Beautiful views from our rooms and balcony, very clean rooms, and kitchen and laundry options were terrific! Updated elevator software was a big plus. We were there before (7 years ago) when wait times were much longer. Be sure to read the signs and key the elevator properly. Years ago I heard Wyndham was not allowed to add another elevator (AC rules not theirs) so try to be patient as the proximity to the Boardwalk, helpful staff, and security teams make it all worth it.

This is the worst place I've ever dealt with in my life. Don't even bother booking because they will tell you they won't be able to find your reservation. I booked through priceline and went to check on after traveling four hours. I spent two hrs trying to figure this out and how to get checked in because they couldn't find my reservation. They said they were having issues with priceline, offered no solution, no help and blew me off. I had to book another hotel that was double the price. Don't even bother wasting your time because they will take your money and not give you the room you paid for. Terrible customer service and forget even contacting Customer service at corporate because they will not direct you to anyone to even help. This place is a complete scam.

Comfortable, spacious, and clean! The view from the balcony was memorable. Amazing sunsets! Activities and movie theater were a bonus and very fun. I worked with no issues on the wifi daily. Kitchen had everything I needed to cook most of my meals, but I highly recommend trying out Tennessee Beer Hall just a block away. To avoid daily parking rates, you can easily park at Resorts across the street for $20 for the week (but no in/out privileges). Can't wait to return. 🙂

Had a Penthouse for a group trip to Altankc City.

The rooms were spacious, and clean, and had a pretty nice size kitchen.

The location of the beach and boardwalk was the best part of the location. The staff and services were great.

My only con is their elevator system is awful. Get ready to wait for a long time to get to your room.

Plan 45 minutes anytime you need to use an elevator. There 30+ floors and 3 elevators. All of which you are assigned and they over project so your waiting 30 to 45 minutes. If you are disabled like me, plan on every challenge because these nothing disability friendly for a spinal cord injury, litterally 4 handicap space parking per floor for 5 floors. The 6th floor parking is open, over crowded and you have to hope you can back down the parking garage and not get in accident. Bring your own wash clothes because they provide none. After asking and waiting nearly 24 hours I bought my own. It's not as nice as they make it seem. Also parking $25 a day to wait hours to get to your car.

Really good experience. Elevator's are really slow since the remodel is still underway another few weeks (until they finish 1 of the 3 elevators is dedicated to construction crews from 8am to 6pm). Other than that really good vibe. Rooms are huge, clean, have private decks, and just plain nice. 6th floor pool/hot tub overlooks the skyline of Hard Rock and the Ocean Resort.

First time here, but would definitely recommend for single people, couples, or families. There is a lot they provide too, like drinks (alcohol even!) and nachos. Plus free laundry, a movie theater, you name it!

Our room was fantastic. Definitely plenty of room for our family of 4. The boys loved sleeping on a couch/bed. Our room was plenty big and had a jetted tub. View from the balcony was great and we enjoyed it every morning and night. Quiet area right off the boardwalk and an easy 5 min walk to the beach. Staff always super friendly and helpful from front desk to security and the cleaning service.

This is a time share. We got a great off season deal. They were not too pushy. As with most places nowadays, there is no maid service during the week. The room is ok, and has a full kitchen which is nice. Furniture was uncomfortable, despite being newly renovated. They are a very short walk from the boardwalk and a great restaurant which is nice. Getting an elevator is a nightmare even off peak.

Very nice updated older hotel in central West Orange off Pleasant Valley Way down the street from West Orange High School. My ground floor room was spacious, two big windows overlooking a courtyard and nicely appointed with a microwave oven and small refrigerator, a modern big screen television with free cable TV, some free premium streaming channels and available pay per view for current movies. The decor was in modern, vibrant earth tone pumpkin, gold and black colors, a comfortable pillow top firm king bed, fabric sofa bed and swivel club chair in black vinyl, a small closet for clothes, a writing desk and chair with a coffee/ tea maker and coffee and tea accessories, a highboy chest of drawers and a lowboy chest, two night tables each side of the bed with lamps including electric outlets and USB plug in chargers plus a clock radio which didn't work well for sound but was usable for recharging my phone by USB cord.
There was an en suite marble bathroom, full tub with shower and lovely marble vanity. The bathroom has an additional wall heater and a fan built in when the light is turned on. The heater/ air-conditioning unit is upgraded from a simple wall unit to a wall thermostat controlled unit. I was there the first really cold, snowy weekend in mid December '25 so the digital thermostat for the heater was much appreciated.
There is a morning breakfast served in their nicely appointed hotel lobby lounge with tables, a popcorn machine, a coffee/ tea service bar and the food and cold drinks bar open during the morning and I believe on certain afternoons. Check with the front desk. The staff was friendly, courteous and welcoming. My package deal with Expedia made this very nice, convenient hotel a bargain. My family lives on Old Short Hills road on the other side of West Orange next to Livingston and Short Hills and this was still a convenient locale to stay with a pleasant drive of about 15 to 20 minutes. Route 280 is also very convenient to this locale allowing quick access to the Newark and NYC areas to the east and Morris and western NJ counties to the west of this west Essex locale. The Garden State Parkway and 78 are also close by.
The South Mountain Reservation and Turtle Back Zoo complex and all close by points of West Orange, Millburn, Union, Orange, Maplewood & South Orange, Livingston, Florham Park and Summit are also very close including The Mall at Short Hills for great shopping, Route 10 going west through Livingston on Mt. Pleasant Avenue and close by Essex Green area shopping and restaurants near the Eagle Rock reservation and Montclair. Great location in a wonderful area of north central NJ.

This was, without question, one of the most upsetting hotel experiences my family has ever had.

It started the moment my mother checked in. She has a serious back condition and simply requested extra pillows so she could sleep. That request was flatly refused. No attempt to accommodate. No empathy. Nothing. When she entered the room, it was a king bed with a rollaway, and the rollaway did not even include a pillow. A basic item. Completely unacceptable.

When my mother called the front desk to explain the situation, instead of resolving the issue, the staff escalated it in the worst possible way. She was accused of being racist and spoken to with outright disrespect. This accusation was both baseless and offensive. My mother is genuinely one of the kindest people you will ever meet and would never imply anything remotely like that. The way staff handled this interaction was unprofessional, inappropriate, and frankly disturbing.

The problems did not stop there. My cousin arrived later, entered his assigned room, and found a complete stranger already inside with belongings spread throughout the room. That is a serious safety and privacy failure. No guest should ever experience that, under any circumstances.

To top it all off, another cousin waited over an hour just to receive one towel. This hotel failed on every basic level: customer service, cleanliness, safety, and respect for guests. The lack of accountability and the hostile attitude from staff turned what should have been a routine stay into a stressful and upsetting experience for my entire family.

Do not stay here. There are far better options nearby that actually value their guests and understand what hospitality means.

We were very disappointed in our stay here. They claim to have a restaurant and bar on site, they did not. They claim to have a free local shuttle, they do not. They claim to have car rental, they do not. The website needs an update. We did not rent a car thinking we would be able to eat onsite and get around with the free local shuttle, but we ended up taking uber/lyft and spent a small fortune. If we had known, we would have rented a car. The staff were all friendly, however.

As a current business owner, I understand the value and impact of a customer review. The purpose of this detailed review is to provide the venue with constructive feedback and the opportunity to make adjustments that could greatly improve their customer service.

On Saturday, September 20, I visited this venue for the second time. My sole purpose was to leave a deposit for an event I am planning in early 2026. The day prior, I was informed that the manager I had originally been in contact with was no longer employed there and that I would instead be meeting with his partner.

Upon arrival, I was immediately taken aback by the condition of the entryway. It had rained heavily in the days prior, and it appeared that water had soaked into the carpets, leaving a strong, unpleasant odor of moisture. After greeting me, the manager escorted us to his office and asked us to sit. We waited for some time as he completed work at his desk before joining us at the table.

From the beginning of our conversation, his tone was unprofessional and passive-aggressive. He made multiple comments about how my information had been entered incorrectly in the system, placing full blame on the previous manager. While I initially tried to make light of the situation and emphasized that I was still interested in booking because of how much I liked the space, he continued to criticize the former manager, even sharing inappropriate internal company details about that person’s termination.

The most concerning part of our interaction was when he implied that the original agreement I had made back in April 2025 might not be honored due to “cleaning up” the previous manager’s mistakes. When I expressed that I expected to rebuild trust and discuss the details of my upcoming event, he dismissed my concerns with, “I thought you’re here for a deposit—why is that necessary?” His dismissive and condescending tone made the interaction increasingly uncomfortable.

Ultimately, the manager’s lack of professionalism, his unwillingness to build rapport, and his suggestion to “get over it and leave the deposit” led me to end the meeting. I thanked him for his time and left the venue. My decision not to proceed with this location was based entirely on this interaction—if the initial meeting with management felt this hostile and dismissive, I could only imagine the frustrations that might arise during event planning or on the actual event day.

Thankfully, I was able to secure a much better venue nearby, one that provided a professional, welcoming, and respectful experience.

The purpose of this review is not to disparage the venue but to highlight an avoidable experience. I hope this feedback helps management recognize the importance of professionalism, customer rapport, and respect in ensuring future clients do not encounter the same issues I did.

Stayed here Sept 1-3. The hotel is old - that’s part of its charm. They have updated sone areas - although very cheaply and not very well. The room is old. The light in the shower didn’t work and was not replaced during our stay. No exhaust fan. There was a timer for a heat light but there was no heat light. A few floor tiles were cracked. The toilet kept flushing all night. The air conditioner and refrigerator are very loud. The floor throughout the room had loose strips of linoleum. The room had a patio off by the bed. THE BED WAS VERY COMFORTABLE.
The complimentary breakfast was just OK. The only fresh fruit was a banana. But it was fine.
The outdoor sitting area was dirty and not very well maintained.
Overall, good location for visiting our friends and a friendly price.
But nothing GRAND about it.
